Say I want to get up close, the first few rows of people. What time do I need to be in line? Is it a mad dash? Can I use my size advantage to shove women and children out of the way?

I'd appreciate any tips you may have.

Thanks,
Drew

I usually get in GA line between 12pm -1pm and I always end up being in one of the first 4 rows, without having to push my way up front. As for people running to the pit, they surely try, but whether they are successful at it it all depends on the venue security and what they are willing to tolerate. In Hartford (this year), things got a bit crazy and unsafe, but in Baltimore you couldn't even walk too fast because the security would stop you.

As for you last question, I hope it's rhetorical and I don't have to answer that. ;)

Now go out there and have fun!!! :D
