A tremendous guitar player, great entertainer, and a kind human being is gone from this world. After disappearing from the professional blues scene in the 60's and then eventually relocating to DC, Bobby started playing a regular monthly gig at a club called Madam's Organ, with his last performance just two weeks before his heart attack at the beginning of November. Well into his 70's, Bobby was still tearing it up, and for a measly five bucks at the door, he treated his audience to the finest guitar playing in the world. I was one of the lucky ones who got to hear him through the end of his days.
This concert, produced by Carlos Santana, showcases Bobby with his band at Montreaux in 2004. I thought you folks would appreciate it.
