not sure if this is the place to ask this question, but there are a lot of posters that change hands in this forum so i thought it would be a good place to start. so. . . .who has shipped framed posters and what method did you use to do this. i ask because i may be selling some framed posters shortly and want ideas before i start. also looking for a rough cost of shipping. thanks a lot

I'm not the guy to ask as I'm just getting my first one framed however there is a framed poster thread and a lot of very helpful advice.

I never shipped a framed poster, but I have shipped two medium sized oil paintings in the last couple of months. I went to a shipping store and the people there looked for the best option and also provided me with packaging (since I didn't have any at home). Turned out, to my surprise, that Fedex was the cheapest option for domestic shipping. It comes with a tracking number too. The packages were around 10 lbs and costed around $16 to ship (excluding packaging). USPS would have been around 26. Everything arrived safely and took less than a week.
