weird connection regarding guitar picks

I'm not sure if there is any connection but it seemed kind of weird any way so I figured I would mention it.

After the hartford show a friend of mine (votegirl on here) While we were walking out of the seats bent down cause she spotted something. It turned out it was two guitar picks in what appeared to be a smooshed donut? They had jelly on them that's all I saw.

Well, after Boston 2 my cousin and his g/f went up to approach the stage and my cousin found a guitar pick in a smooshed MUFFIN.

How would a muffin and a donut get inside a venue? I don't believe they sell them there and would they let people bring food inside? Anyone else find a pick inside a pastry?

    i'll let votegirl respond and she can tell her part I didn't actually see it I just saw the pick after she got it... my cousin is definitely substance free though So I doubt he was under the influence of anything

    Is it possible Ed never said "I'm a donut" .... maybe he said "I'm in a donut"?

    He was giving us clues for a PJ pick scavenger hunt :-)

    I always look down after a show. I look for cash and wallets. :)


    This is the honest to goodness truth... I found two orange pics smooshed in a Jelly Donut on the floor...(Full Metal Jacket flashback)

    I was a little grossed out by the whole thing..sticky fingers, but in the end it was worth it, I washed both pics and my hands later on.

    I was able to keep one for myself and give one to my good friend, jo.

    In all seriousness though, I was there when votegirl found the two pics in the jelly donut. I thought it was odd that two pics thrown from the stage would both happen to land in the donut... but stranger things have happened. I also thought it was a bit far from the stage for the pics to land, although not impossible.

    But now I think its a clear possibility that someone is deliberately placing guitar picks into pastries by seats on the floor.

    Are you guys positive the venue didn't have a Dunkin Donuts? I have no idea whether or not venue Dunkins sell actual doughnuts or just coffee, but this would be my guess.
    Pretty funny either way.

    Now this is strange ,because as I was leaving the Sendai concert in 2003
    I looked down and saw a pick under a seat ,I cant imagine anyone catching it and then just dropping it!! I dropped everything and grabbed it!!!It said EV on one side and 23 on the other!!!I treasure it to this day!!!!
    The waiting drove me mad!!!
