Got One Gun in my head and went to Youtube to play it.

Couldn't remember ever chatting about these guys on these forums. They are definitely one of the most underrated bands I can recall.

Any other fans?

saw them open for neil young in hamilton 1994 or 5
  • They play small clubs and don't seem to charge more then 40 a ticket. Can't beat seeing them in their prime. I like the cover of Hooties' I Go Blind that they do. ;)

Don't miss them when they come to your home town!

The poison from the poison stream caught up to you ELEVEN years ago and you floated out of here. Sept. 14, 08

    Time out.

I Go Blind is 54-40's tune. Hooties covered it.

You are bang on about the other stuff though.

The winky eye, the winky eye.

We were at a small venue here in Toronto a couple of years back and people were telling the five or six whole people who were standing and having fun to sit down. Sad day indeed. When they rocked the Docks years ago, now that was a party.

Missed that. Sorry. I tend to glance over those things.

I mostly remember these guys rocking out in Vancouver when I was at school. A great band for the era.

We got them on a New Year's Eve too somewhere in that vicinity. Great night.

They have a huge and underrated catalogue of music that's easy to listen to.

Great band. I've seen them live so many times over the years, I've lost count. I have to admit I haven't listened to much of their recent material. But their 2008 album "Northern Soul" was a brilliant return to form after they seemed to be spinning their wheels for a few years there. I think Neil Osborne deserves to be mentioned as one of the greatest Canadian songwriters of all time.
"I try my best to chug, stomp, weep, whisper, moan, wheeze, scat, blurt, rage, whine, and seduce. With my voice I can sound like a girl, the boogieman, a Theremin, a cherry bomb, a clown, a doctor, a murderer. I can be tribal. Ironic. Or disturbed. My voice is really my instrument."
