Regardless of the artist isn't this one of the reasons you can't take in water bottles to a concert in north america. If you buy one in the venue they pull off the cap first (so if you throw it, it loses the water and its momentum).....

I'll try to explain the connection to PJ slowly....

    I have a friend Brian
He went to Brazil for Carnival 3 years ago
While there he hooked up with a woman from Seattle
That woman from Seattle has a daughter
The womans daughter has a BFF who thinks that Betterman is a love song

so there you go....a direct connection to Pearl Jam

Haaa, it was a little heavy handed when a gentile reminder that nobody cares would have sufficed.

i thought we are blessed to have PJ in our lives instead of this kind of musician...
  • sure this isnt pj topic, belongs to other music, but no matter the artist,no one has the right to throw bottles of water to another person//like or not this kid ,he is working and do his thing on stage...

This is true but I think the only thing that got hurt were the Beib's feelings.

    Been doing this for years.

It's priceless to order two waters for GA, have them remove both caps, I open my backpack, put a cap back on, and throw the bottle in my bag.

Their faces are always in a state of confusion lol.

He also got smashed with a shoe in Indio!
  • Justin is slowly becoming more like Axl Rose in terms of taking the stage late and walking out after being thrown a bottle.

I once saw Matchbox Twenty when I was 17 at a festival and water bottles were RAINING on them. Rob Thomas was taking a beating, but he stuck it out. He talked a little shit, threatened to leave a couple of times, but I've got to hand it to him, he finished the set. And he was taking them to every part of his person, didn't just have a single bottle bounce off his arm/hand area.

PS - I tagged Rob's ass too. I feel kind of bad about it now because I earned a little respect for him that night, even though I've never liked their music. I always thought he came across as a bit of a pussy, but not after that.

Or maybe Biebs can ask Pearl Jam and the Stones what it feels like to have everybody throwing their shoes at you.

You mean this post in the forum "Not Pearl Jam's Music", in the sub forum "Other music"?

Nothing, which is the actual point of the forum.

I believe this thread was originally posted on The Porch and moved here. At least that's what I gathered from the previous posts.

That would certainly explain why this thread makes no sense.

    Carry on then.

It's fucking terrible anytime an artist is hit in the head by something on stage. I don't care who it is. However, he shouldn't have completely walked out on the show if he wasn't actually injured too badly to continue.

Not that it makes it alright or anything, but it hit him in the hand. Some reports have said head (he did have his hand close to his head), but it hit his hand and knocked the mic out.

Ooohhhhhh. I thought it was his head. In the hand? Is it broken? If not, suck it up Sally. What a baby. He doesn't even play an instrument up there. Russel Brand played the Greek with a bone sticking out of his arm.
