Whatever happened to the people from 5 Horizons?

Caryn and Jean, I think. They seemed to live for Pearl Jam all those years and ran a fantastic website, but you never hear anything from them anymore.

Do they still follow the band.... Do they still go to shows?

    That was a great site and one of the few trustworthy ones that would offer excellent new information and fresh insights - the Concert Chronology alone was a thing of pure beauty (and of course is now well-looked after by the folks at Two Feet Thick).
    I remember trying to download the vid of TOTD doing 'Hunger Strike' from Lolla '92 over a 56k modem from that site............took bloomin' ages but was well worth it...thank goodness for YouTube and DSL! :)

    I was thinking about this recently too... it seems like a few of the PJ websites have stopped updating all together or do so sparingly.

    Caryn eventually went rogue and left in a huff. She had disagreements with many people in the PJ community who didn't agree with what the site was becoming. People felt she was becoming a bully with her PJ "power" in the community.

    It ended ugly and she basically fell off the planet Earth. Total radio silence.

    I remember checking the site every day and it was a great place to share the love before the official site found its groove.

    Any idea if they are still into the band since they dropped the website? Seems odd that you never hear from them anymore... Two Feet Thick needs to do a "Where are they now?" story on them.

    Great site tho... was always the first place I checked in the late 90s to see the latest setlists.

    Five Horizons was where I found out about Roskilde.

    It was also where I downloaded a live version of Porch that began my unbridled love affair with live versions of the song.

    Me too . . . 5h was where I got my PJ fix after seeing them live for the first time during the '98 Yield tour! Loved downloading various audio clips and video clips from shows etc. Thought it was amazing at the time!

    It satisfied my PJ cravings for a good 4 or 5 years until its contents moved to TwoFeetThick.....
