Hi All,
I have no idea if this is the right forum to post this in. Apologies if it isn't.
I want to draw people's attention to a UK organisation unload-After Armed Conflict.
This organisation works with those who have left the services and are suffering from the effects of conflict. This can be immediately after or many years after.
unload work gently and at a pace that suits those who they're working with. Founded by a wonderful man who has been through similar issues post conflict he realised there was a need for deeper and more hands on help.
If anyone knows anyone who might benefit from unload please pass on the web address.

And it CAN be turned into AMT territory quite easily by posing this question...
Has there been enough done by VA or DoD to help returning service members in whatever they need help with to get through this experience they've gone through?
What if any organizations in your area have taken this up for those who fall through the cracks or cannot wait on the government to do whats right by them?
In Ohio , each county has a Veterans Service Commission to help vets and their families with a range of things they may face. Was established after the civil war to do just that.

I can tell you without a doubt not enough is done.
There are plantyof organisations but not necessarily for those who don't want to be part of an organisation any more or want to be further away.

I've heard many good things about donation-driven organizations, Wounded Warriors among them (which we support).
I hope the needed assistance reaches those who need it so badly.
No. It's better now than it was in 2005, but it's sure as shit not enough, not by a long shot.
Edit: And truthfully it might not be better now, it was better for a bit, but now and in the immediate future I don't know.
