IPOD GEEK ALERT! List your "A to F" 'Featured Artists.'

Truth be told, I'm anal about my Ipod. But my digital music collection is one of my favorite possessions & hobbies. As the years go on, my collection becomes bigger, but also better, as while it slowly grows I also slowly delete songs (from certain artists only) to make sure that when I leave this earth, my wife and kids will be left with an outstanding 'soundtrack of my life' for them to enjoy if they so desire (let's hope they are well over the age of 18 when they discover my 'gangsta rap' selections!).
I like the artists that show on my Ipod to be ones who I really enjoy and who have large catalogs (unless they are a newer band). For example, if I only have one album or a little 'hits' mix of an artist (Jimmy Buffett or Bob Dylan for example), then they will be regulated to my "Misc. Rock/Pop" 'artist,' and I also do that for "Misc. Reggae" and "Misc. Rap." These three 'Misc. Artist' collections contain 35 actual recording artists, leaving 96 other 'Featured Artists.' My goal is not to let my featured artists list get over 100.
Is anyone else nearly as anal about this as me? And yes or no, if you want to share your 'Featured Artists,' please list them.
I put my artists on a spreadsheet, not using any A's or The's in front of their name, and also using the first initial of an individual artist's first name (Frank Sinatra is under "F" for example).
If anyone is interested in playing along, I will follow this thread up with three other ones...'G-L,' 'M-R,' and 'S-Z.' Here we go...
AC/DC
Aerosmith
Alice In Chains
Arcade Fire
Audioslave
Band of Skulls
Beastie Boys
Beatles
Beck
Ben Harper
Black Angels
Black Crowes
Black Keys
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club

Doesn't iPod software ignore the "The"?
I cheated and used the artists stored on my Philips hard drive.
I just wanted to join in
No but usually you would see The Beastie Boys sorted under Beastie Boys under album artists so they will come up under B in the artist lists.
Correct...I ignored the "The's" and "A's" entirely when inputting my collection into my spreadsheet though.

These are all from official albums, no greatest hits/soundtracks (unless the song was s/t only). People at work love hearing what comes on next when I put my phone on shuffle (could be anything from classic country followed by rap, followed by PJ!) Any mashups were excluded also.

Since I've only had my phone since July the stuff that's on here is only what I specifically put on here cuz I wanted to hear it There is a Movie soundtrack on here that I dunno what I wanna do with the tags, right now every artist with a song on there is listed under 'artists' in my Poweramp music player.
And just to get it on the record - Better than Ezra is on there cuz I got 'Rosalea' stuck in my head while talking with my friend about possible baby names and I kept suggesting Doctor Who characters.
