I lived in Hong Kong for a few years and heard PJ quite regularly. I lived in Mid-Levels and a lot of bars/restaurants there would play PJ. I'm pretty sure I heard them in a few restaurants in Causeway Bay too. Never heard them off the island, but that's not much of a surprise.

If you heard them up in Tai Wai, then I'd be thoroughly impressed :D

Was living off Jordan road last year, on canton rd jade st. I never heard PJ in HK. Used to hangout on temple st, and dallaneys Irish pub off Kowloon park. Cool city but glad I don't live there! Too many people for me.

  • I used to buy Pearl Jam bootlegs in Hong Kong when I went over to visit family. You know, not the official ones (and not the CDs on Temple Street that say they are Pearl Jam but are actually a cover band) but those European bootlegs that would cost $25 or so in the US because they were imports. They were cheaper over there, maybe like $15 to $20. I still have a couple of those...
