What happened to these fine gems from "Riot Act"? I dont think the band has polished them off live since 2005 for CD and 2003 for Ghost. I was listening to the 3rd Boston show today from 2003, and both of these songs were on the 2nd set. "Ghost" is very underappreciated. I hope they don't fall into the bin with "Who You Are".

Me too, but something tells me most of the songs from Riot Act that haven't been played with some regularity this past year, are pretty much done from the live setting.
Katowice 2007
London 2007
2005 - 9/15, 9/16, 9/30, 10/1, 10/3
2006 - 5/5, 5/12, 5/13, 5/27, 5/28, 5/30, 6/1, 6/3, 6/23, 7/22, 7/23, 12/2
2007 - 6/27, 8/3
2008 - 6/14, 6/19, 6/20, 6/22, 6/24, 6/25, 6/27, 6/28, 6/30, 7/1
It was soundchecked in London and sounded incredible.

Hopefully it makes a comeback. That song is awesome and totally unappreciated.
Definitely. I never understand why that song gets so much hate. I heard some live versions from 2003 and they lacked the punch of the studio cut, so i guess I can get that it didn't work live. However, hearing it from the soundcheck in London, it surpassed the album version.

It seems like a great early/mid-set rocker.
Were you in the space for the soundcheck? Or were you waiting outside the doors and just happened to hear it?
I would love to hear Ghost. I love it.
And I don't feel right when you're gone away

i saw both ghost and cropduster live in 03, both good live. I prefer cropduster though, one of my faves of riot act

I dont think anyone knows besides the band what the process is for deciding which song is set-list staple, "E-Flo" , "Evolution", but it's a shame that "Ghost" probably won't make an appearance anytime soon. Usually as the band gets older, they also play songs differently from years ago, thus another cause for dissapointed to hear "Ghost" 2007 vs 2003.

I saw thread about 1/2 full, Rival and now this 2 song...it's too much, just a bottom of PJ songs...sorry!!
LIFE WASTED, BLOOD on the PORCH, LAST KISS is a WISHLIST DEEP DOWN NOTHING AS IT SEEMS WHY GO COME BACK ALIVE SPIN THE BLACK CIRCLE and SMILE.
It was pretty awesome and I know theyll play it someday, and Ill be there.
I guess lots of us got spoilt now that weve seen them numbers of times and
wanna pick songs, make a setlist. but the bottom line is, whatever PJ decides to play, its awesome. now, if they can add these two every once in a while, it would be even better
I was listening to this show this morning on the drive to work. The Ed improv, "Fuck you All" was priceless. I can almost see the faces of the people in the front row. Great solo by Mike as well. Ed recovered at the end of the song with a nice, "Fuck em All", not to offend anyone directly.
"Cropduster" live is somewhat intriguing because when I saw them in DC 03, they had the backdrop going and throughout the entire song it was just a maze of green lights. So, is the audience perhaps in a trance staring at this weird formation, or are they truly bored?
