"An evening with PJ" - Athens 30/9/06

According to the promoter's anouncement the concert in Athens on Saturday will be special and full of surprises.

PJ in order to celebrate the end of their European tour will present a special one-off show called "An evening with Pearl Jam" for the first time in this tour.
The show time resheduled from 21:30 to 20:00.

I think we lucky bastards we' ll get an unforgetable 3+ hours show!!!

    Just my speculation, but let's see the facts:

    1. 4 days before the show they anounce this special nigth "An evening with PJ"
    2. The time is rescheduled
    3. There is no support act
    4. PJ usualy have a special long show in every tour
    5. It is the last show of a VERY succesfull and emotional (see Reading) European Tour and I'm sure they want to say a big thank you (and sorry...) to all European fans.

    Anyway even before the beginning of the European Tour everyone had the feeling that the last show will be special. I hope I will be proven rigth.


    PS: Fact No5: We Greeks love G.Bush as much as they do.... Ok Just kidding!

    ok so the show was suposed to be on 21:30 and now it's on 20:00?
    (my tickets are in greek and i don't speak greek ...)
    and about what sorry? hat happened in riding ???? haven't heard of it...

    According to didi music (the promoter) is rescheduled: show starts at 20:00, doors opens 17:30. However, 10c had informed a month ago anyone who purchased tickets via 10c about the correct hours.

    The "sorry" is about the six years of absence fron Europe
    At Reading Eddie was almost crying while thanking the 60.000 crowd. Don't forget that was the first time they played a festival in Europe after the Rockslide tragedy.

    public doors open: 17:30
    10C early entry: 17:15
    Show starts: 20:00

    Flights are expensive. Trust me I looked. We would have gone but for the price of the flights :(

    At this time of the year fligths from Greece to Uk are fully booked from students so only expensive outbound (return for you) tickets are available.

    An Evening with PJ at the Gorge equals a 3 hour set including 2 long encores. The Euros are in for an amazing evening! Enjoy everyone, wishing you a great time!

    There is also a massive conference on in Athens at the sametime making flights expensive and hotels hard to find.
