Good to know it's on the way, still curious what will happen with the original. Are they going to want it back in some way like including a mailer to send it, or is it mine to keep to do as I wish, etc...

    looks like it's a Vinyl only replacement...Curious about the ppl with split seams, smudges on the cover. SOL?

    That better not be the case for mine..because mine had a huge split in the seam, and I told them that in the email. I'm hoping that people that told them there were packaging issues get a full replacement. I guess it is understandable to send a "vinyl only" replacement if that was the only issue.

    It seems like different people had different issues, but man mine was just screwed up top to bottom. I had a 2 inch seam tear, the record had a few bad spots where it skipped and popped really bad, and there was like a chucnk of vingyl stuck close to the center hole of the record...I kind of let them have it in the email....seems like Bob the QA guy was taking a snoonze when mine came off the line.

    I still don't understand how these were ever allowed to leave the manufacturing plant in the first place. Absolutely ridiculous.

    I opened up the external shipping packaging (which was fine) and just laughed before I even pulled the shrink wrap off.
