I just found this review and thought it was quite an interesting read...I'd be interested to see what others make of it

    Interesting read. Coming from a hardcore/punk background I know of JB and have seen Converge a ton of times. I prefer their first couple of records to latter stuff but thats IMO of course.

    I'm always intrigued when people from hardcore/punk find something that I also found in Pearl Jam as although musically they are often on very different wavelengths, I think the underlying "punk ethic" and the DIY ethos is the common ground here.

    just stumbled across this. interesting read and an interesting take on finding common threads across disparate music genres. this site is a pretty cool concept and definitely worth a look
