Severed Hand

Has this song been retired? I believe it's only been played once this year - last spring in S.A. They played it quite often on the S/T tour (of course), but until this year it's still been played quite a bit each tour.

Perhaps because it's an early in the set rocker, the new set list style doesn't allow it to fit in as it used to... I love the song and would be happy to hear it anywhere on the set list! How about opening the 2nd encore with it?!!

    It didn't dawn on me that it's been missing until seeing seeing some neighborhood kids chasing each other with a severed hand Halloween prop! I sure hope it gets more rotation on the left coast tour.

    Retired wouldn't be the word I'd use. More like hiatus or vacation. It is one of my favorites and I noticed its absence too, but it was heavily played in 06 when it was new, and played plenty in 08 and 10, so I think they're just giving it a break in favor of some others. I'd guess it will be back on a future tour.

    I was surprised to hear this one last night. It sounded crisp. Like they never stopped playing it!
