Sometimes I feel like I'm happily riding along and
the driver takes a wrong turn down a dark alley!
that's the point at which I have to say somethin'
(um, excuse me beauty boy, but I think you need to look at the map)
when I was younger, I used to pretend to be less capable than I am
(don't want to scare folks off)
but, I know how to drive too
and if I'm in the car, we are NOT going to linger on a stinky narrow street!
nope, it ain't gonna happen.
we are going to take a trip in the most w i d e o p e n s p a c e

don't you remember?
I carry the sun in my pocket!
snacks in my purse
lots of fresh water and
a bunch of polished rocks for making wishes
plus, most of all,
plenty of love for the driver

do you honestly think I don't know how
to turn a wheel 'round too?!
