So... HUGE game tonight and Kerr is sitting Curry, Green, Thompson and Igoudala.. Damn...

Smart move by coach as his team is in a tailspin but it sucks as a fan.

I was really looking forward to this game.

I don't know if it's good move or not.. I mean that's going to tighten the race to a 1/2 game, presuming that the Spurs win.
They've lost 4/6 games since Durant went out. The teams cohesion is waning.

If the Warriors were to lose with everyone on the court it might shake them up more. They have a history of getting rattled when they have some adversaty.

    Spurs by 10 tonight.
    I was off by 12...

    Spurs by 22

I'm sorry, but it's bullshit the way Harden draws fouls.

I agree! Same with Westbrook and LeBron. They get rewarded for initiating the contact and then flopping. I'll give LeBron a little more credit because he gets hammered a lot of times and does not get calls, maybe because he flops the rest of the time. Meanwhile players get manhandled off the ball, especially the best shooters and nothing is ever called. Moving screens are called so randomly nobody knows what a proper screen even is anymore. The officiating is reaching new levels of ineptitude and for me it's starting to ruin the game. The last possession of games generally turns into a wrestling match in which nothing is a foul. Oh and if you can't tell if a foul is a flagrant in live action then it's not a flagrant! No more wasting 5 minutes watching replays of clean hard fouls. Also players complaining to the officials has gotten way out of control! Draymond Green complains about every call and wonders why he never gets the benefit of the doubt? I watched a lot of Cousins and he was even worse, sometime arguing blatantly obvious calls. Then there is the comical flopping on charges. Oh and please get rid of the 3 second violation!!! Sometimes I count guys in the lane for 5 or more seconds. The free path foul needs to be eliminated as well. Also the over reviewing of obvious calls destroys the flow of the last two minutes and half the time they don't even get it right. Overall it's just a bad look for the NBA. I almost dread the playoffs because we all know officiating is going to determine more than a few games.

I think you forgot to mention travelling. It's a new thing I do and I catch at least five uncalled walks every game without even trying. Especially with "pivots".

That was very timid. CP3 is known as a "dirty" player and there was nothing dirty about that. Straight up physical.

CP3 plays hard like Dreymond Green does. I'm ok with it.

I'm watching the Spurs. I'm watching them get blown out at home against the Warriors playing without Durant. I respect the hell out of the Spurs and Pop is an amazing coach. But like I said last year they don't have enough offense to win an NBA title. Their backcourt is average at best and Aldridge can't dominate against elite defensive teams. Kawhi is great but he can't beat a team with 4 legit All Stars.

THAT game was very upsetting... GS turned it up. Man did they turn it up. They had one more gear than SA and left them behind.

I'm not counting them out though. GS blew out the Cavs then ended up losing the championship to them.

    We shall see.

Very interesting game. I thought the Spurs needed Manu or Patty Mills to look for their own shot more, they were too unselfish. Warriors D was very good, but at times, the Spurs need to have someone in their back court take some riskier shots.

David West had a throwback game to his New Orleans days

I can't believe there is even a debate if Westbrook should be MVP.

I agree. I really never thought anyone would challenge the Big O's record. It's sort of like 100 points in a game. I really thought it was untouchable.

I personally think Lebron should get it every year but they try to spread the award around...

That being said Westbrook should be the MVP. He went beastmode the whole year AND made the Thunder somewhat relevant this year.

Whilst what Westbrook has done this year has been incredible, I don't think its a certainty that he gets the MVP. There is so much debate on what should be the criteria - is it the best player for the season, or the leader of his team to a great season, plus other considerations.

I have never been a Harden fan, but Coach D'Antonio has changed his game this year and he has benefitted massively from his system.
I agree that Lebron should be there most years, but don't think he deserves it this year. Too many games where he should have taken over against lesser teams and they lost, plus I hate the resting.
Kawhi should also get more consideration, but can't see it being anyone other than Harden or Russ

Yes Kawhi should get more consideration considering his team does have the second best record in the league.

Look at Hardens supporting cast then look at Westbrooks. Both are nothing to brag about but Hardens team has more firepower.

Westbrooks team should have been given the death knell once KD flew the coop but they didn't. He rose up to the occasion and delivered all year long.

If Harden does win I won't be shocked though. I see it being really close in the voting.
