as if things aren't bad enough for the Nets, their next three games, at Toronto, Golden State, at Cleveland.

that's good actually ... team is tanking and the way the league is - you are tanking with at least 8 other teams ...
Funny they were talking about the majority of teams "tanking" now...
that was my position earlier in this thread ... there are so many teams tanking now that the product is just piss poor ... i wonder if there is a stat somewhere that shows the average winning margin in is in nba games ... if I had to guess - it would be at its highest now ...
It's sad how mediocre teams are now. The knicks are horrible but then again they thought Melo was the answer...

I wonder if, that's "if" players like John Wall can even play with a team around them?

You bring up a good point with the huge margins of victory. Knicks/cavs lebron and company checked out of the game and were more interested in the water bottle challenge than the game... cavs blew them out that bad.

Warrors beat them by 20 tomorrow.

I was wrong. Jazz lost by 30.
I hate when you're right. I turned it off after the teams went a combined 1 for their first 23. The warriors, obviously, found their touch at some point.
If I had known then what I know now...

That was a giant shot at Phil Jackson. Lebron was purposely disrespecting his team as payback for disrespecting him publicly.

Which was a joke(disrespecting lebron). Lebron is friends with people on the knicks and it reflects their "tanking" style of play.

The knicks get hyped up wayyyyyy too much. Porzingas might be Melos best asset but they still need a leader on that team. Zero leadership...

That game wa awesome. Curry is such a fraud

Thank you! He's turned into a total punk. He can't play when you D up on him hard. He doesn't have the physical size or stamina for playoff basketball. Once you put a body on him, he shrinks. He's great in the reg season when no one plays defense.

And at 31, Lebron is still a monster. But he's a monster, mentally now too.

I've always thought that Thompson was the better player on the team.

Now that I've had a chance to see Durant on the Goldenstate team I am very impressed. If the Warriors can get their run and gun 3 pointers dropping and dump offs to Durant they will be even tougher to beat...

Seeing Lebron, Kyrie, and Love come back from 14 points down is GREAT to see too. These guys are finding their own.

Warriors and Cavs finals for the next few years.

I'm not an expert, but these stats, plus actually winning a championship and getting to the finals last year, seem to indicate that Steph does have the stamina for playoff basketball:
    25.7 ppg
    6.6 apg
    4.7 rpg
    44% fg%
    41% 3pt fg%

Talk to me when he's 30. If he's still got averages like that, I'll stand corrected.

When Curry first entered the league he was known to have weak ankles and Doc Rivers would get pissed during the playoffs when he thought players would target his ankles.

So let's see how they hold up but it doesn't seem to be a topic anymore.

Interesting. I was thinking more of the body blows.
  • So tonight I saw Westbrook with what looked like a Judas Priest Screaming for Vengeance. I would LOVE to hear his take on that!

We also have the lowly 76'ers playing the plummeting Knicks tonight too, oh what a shit show this is going to be...

The damn Sixers won, can you believe that crap?

And yes former player xavier McDaniel, you are correct that the knicks will be breaching soon with their heads going down the shitter quick. I have been telling people for a while that Melo is a GREAT scorer and NOT a leader. That team needs an Alpha and Rose isn't it either, he's proved that a few years ago when he openly stated that he has "me to think about" and not playing in the playoffs(which I understand but he isn't team oriented...) when he was cleared but fresh off an injury.

How much longer does Porzingis have to watch this before he bolts? When is his contract up?

Cavs. A positive outlook. They keep getting better and their counterpart the Warriors do too. It'll be a great finals again this year!
