How much are you willing to pay for a flght? Looks like you can go from Dublin to London on the 19th on Ryanair for $111. I guess it depends on your definition of "a lot" of money ... but that doesn't seem all that steep to me.

Pity the gig is on the 18th then, isn't it?!

I´m in the same situation as you. Was offered a ticket to wembley on the bus between munich and chorzow and I was like, I`m going!. And today the flight from Stockholm is like 700$. I found one for like 300$ but then I will be landing at 18.00 in gatwick, so sure I make it, but if the plane is late I´ve lost alot of money. But hang in there I´m hoping to find a last minute flight on sunday.

The ferry option sounds good. Maybe go to Liverpool and check with National Express on coaches to London, or investigate the trains?

    Good luck!

  • Not sure whether you've sorted anything out yet???

The cheapest flights I could find is a £55 return by Ryanair.

Departs Dublin (no Idea if this is good for you) at 06:30 on 18th. Destination is Bristol. You can return at a few times on the 19th without changing the price: 08:00, 16:45 and 22:10.

Train connections from Bristol to London are good. Basically every half hour, taking 1hr30 - 1hr40.

    It's another option anyway.

    Good luck!
  • Or you can do the same from Dublin to Birmingham at the same crazy time in the morning for £60 return. Train connections from Birmingham Aiport to London are the same frequency and take 1hr20. The airport is on the train line to london (Birmingham International station) so this might be a better option. No idea about connections from Bristol airport to the train station.

Thats a good idea. The coach down will cost you about £25 return so maybe try that.

It'll take you an hour or two to get from Gatwick to Wembley Arena as Gatwick airport is quite a few miles South of London and Wembley Arena is in the outskirts of NW London... So you wouldn't get there til 8 or so if the plane was on time. Cutting it a bit fine considering PJ are onstage at 8.45.
