Ticketmaster "Day-of-Show" drops. Anyone do it?

I am dying to upgrade my Baltimore seats. Seems that this could be the only way or Box Office. Have any day of show tickets been dropped this tour? Where were your seats? Did you do box office or TM? 8-)
...makes much more sense to live in the present tense.

    I upgraded twice during the day yesterday. Then when picking up at will call they just released even better tickets do I upgraded again at box office.

    I knew more were released as all the scampers were in line behind me.

    Then frustrating to walk outside and see a scalper with a stack of 10c GA tickets in his hands wrist bands and all as I saw him distributing to a couple customers.

    I picked up day-of tickets through TM for Worcester 2; the seats were amazing -- side stage, just a few rows up. I've never been that close.

    I checked online yesterday for Hartford, but I was checking too early in the day. I had a fantastic time nonetheless. :D

    I've haven't done it on this tour, but I did get great upgrades at the last Spectrum show that way.

    I've also done it for other bands and got really good seats. Got GA for U2 that way once too - in Cleveland.

    I bought a seat 7 rows up from McCready stage side the morning of Worcester 2 from Ticketmaster. :thumbup:

    Wednesday October 16 around 2:45 pm I went online (comcastix.com) and found 3rd row on Mike's side of stage for Oct 21 Philly show AND same exact seats but 2nd row for Oct 22 Philly show. Huge, huge upgrade for both shows.

    Just random luck to get on when they drop.

    This might sound dumb...

    I've heard a couple people say "upgrade"...The box office doesn't let you trade in your current seats for better ones, correct? By upgrade, you mean you buy new tickets, and throw the old ones on this board or stubhub, right?

    I think I bought mine between 8-9 that morning. Luck is definitely a big factor.

    It's more like.... buy new ones and hope to sell the others in the parking lot.

    right, I had a few days to sell my original tickets.....luckily I was able to find buyers here on the PJ forum. No problem.

    I spoke to a woman at the box office this morning. She told me to try back around 3pm. I spoke to her again at 3:00 and she said she was told it was "sold out" and they were not releasing any more. Take it for what it's worth. :(

    In Hartford they released more at the box office only (not online or by phone) at 4pm.
