    I had forgotten how good the old episodes were until my son turned that marathon on last night. I saw the monorail episode. I love the episodes that have songs in them! :)

    Watched a ton of the marathon this weekend. Brought back a lot of memories of when Simpsons was in syndication at a Seinfeldian level, when I was in high school. A lot of great old episodes and it's still pretty solid when I catch some newer ones.

    not really. when someone doesn't accept an offer for a contract renewal, that means they quit. if he was fired, he wouldn't have been offered a new contract. they would have not given him the option to renew at all.
