i know people here complain about ticket prices on occassion. but a while back i got an email from ticketmaster that had the STP ticket prices for the Hollywood Bowl on it.

i spent $140 on two tickets to the Columbia, SC show.

1 pit ticket for STP..$125.

box seats (an actual private box that holds 4 people) are always pricey for shows at the hollywood bowl.
  • If the show goes on . . . sentenced to 8 days in jail today, stemming from a Nov. 07 DUI. Maybe he'll finally clean up his act and maybe the sun will collide into the earth tommorow. Link of the arrest/sentence below:

stp has only 3 good albums and used to play the same setlist every night. knowing that makes my $85 for PJ seem like nothing.

Wow, so Wieland's at it again huh? The man is a walking time bomb, I keep wondering when he's gonna OD. Regardless, I think he's a great musician. I never saw him with STP, but I did catch him with Velvet Revolver. I've been tempted to see them at Summerfest in Milwaukee this summer, but it's on the 4th of July. :(

That's also the Hollywood Bowl though...they could play the Forum and the price could be cut in half if not, more. Or Irvine Meadows as well if they want to still play an outdoor theater.

I never feel like I'm paying too much when I'm seeing Pearl Jam. For my ticket price, I receive a 2 hour plus show by my favorite band, an opening band I like with very few exceptions , and a pre-and post- concert atmosphere , party, and camaraderie like I can't find anywhere else. Not too shabby.
