Fallon is so far ahead of his peers these days that it's ridiculous. Nice to see a host show genuine excitement.

He doesn't even do anything groundbreaking, but he's the only tonight show host who actually acts like he enjoys his job. Haven't seen that since Carson.
  • The only thing about Fallon is what others have said sometimes, he tends to talk over his guests or interrupt before they finish an answer. I had recorded some of Carson Daly just in case it went through, and while his show is a different format, I enjoyed the more conversational aspect of it (might get blasted for that!)

Ed was great. The whole pearl jam week on Fallon and the social media marketing by pj for the new album and tour have been great as well.

I agree. Fallon is really funny but it stopped the conversation. He's gotten a lot better since the start of his show.

I thought I'd get a good lambasting for bringing up the activist aspect of Ed's interview and (so far anyway) haven't. I'm glad to hear you good people thought the interview great as well. Today was the end a grueling two weeks at work and I was on my last legs but even having stayed up late to watch the show and getting up a few hours later, I was stoked the whole day. The kind of good stuff EV puts out there- oh man, it goes a long way! Thank you Eddie Vedder!

My kids would love that he's wearing those damn bracelets... Great interview. Still seems slightly uneasy but managed to get through. I laughed three or four times.

+1. That was fun to watch. Didn't know Bardem was a fan. Spain show story was hilarious.

I was watching and was thinking, Does Ed have on rubber band bracelets. I teach school and that is the craze for all the kids. I figure his girls must have made them for him. It seems like Ed is a great Dad!! :D
