its cos the support act is a band from Glasgow called "The Fridges"

you read it here first :)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Until the source of the 'transcript' has been identified, this is still very much a vague internet rumour.

He wouldn't need to since Chris Cornell is the support act.

So somebody would write out an entire interview just to spread the rumour that they are gonna play some US dates and have a 'cool' show planned for Wembley?

The interview was in full - a long transcript...

Plus as the whole floor (around 3000/4000) will be Ten Club - I would be surprised if they DIDNT have something special planned.

no source for the interview though...
    2003 - Sydney x3,
    2006 - Reading Festival,
2007 - Katowice, London, Nijmegen, Rock Werchter,
    2008 - MSG x2, Hartford, Mansfield x2, Beacon Theater,
    2009 - Melbourne, Sydney,
2010 - I watched it go to fire!
    2011 - EV Brisbane x3, Newcastle, Sydney x3,
    2012 - Manchester x 2, Amsterdam x2, Prague, Berlin x2, Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen,
    2014 - Sydney, EV Sydney x3

I wave to all my Friends... Yeah!

I'm just speaking from experience in seeing these kinds of rumours sourced from the BDO forum.

you could have written it in proper drum notation, like

    "w m w m w w w"

which (with a decent font) should approximate to

"bum titty bum titty bum bum bum"

good afternoon, and goodbye (heads for the coat rack)...
Oh yeah? Well, I've had about enough of morons and halfwits, dolts, dunces, dullards and dumbbells - and you chowderhead yokel, you blithering hayseed, you - you've had enough of me?

A Chris Cornell appearance would be... dreamy
or even a Neil Young appearance... maybe a preset?

either way, it's going to be special

    :D I agree :p

Maybe they're going to hand out hampers full of dairy products to everyone on the floor... that would be a cool thing to do :)

Or MAYBE it will be a 'request only' show :)
    The Astoria??? Orgazmic!
    Verona??? it's all surmountable
Dublin 23.08.06 "The beauty of Ireland, right there!"
    Wembley? We all believe!
Copenhagen?? your light made us stars
    Chicago 07? And love
    What a different life
Had I not found this love with you

I can't remember which band it was that did it, think it could have been The Rolling Stones....for a part of the show they had a huge wheel with song titles on and they invited audience members on stage to spin it and whatever song it landed on, they played next.

Something like that might be cool :)

I reckon it'll be a short acoustic pre-set or summat like that though
