I have a question about this - I have GA for LA2 and the friend I'm going with wears tons of wristbands from other shows. Neither of us will be at any PJ GA shows before this one and none of her wristbands will be from PJ shows. Will this wristband cutting policy be an issue for her or will security be able to acknowledge that she is not wearing any other PJ wristbands and leave the other ones she wears alone? Taking off the wristbands is not really an option.

Thanks for any insight or experiences. :)

I think there is a good chance that she will have to have the wristbands cut off if she wears them.... Why can't she remove them? If she really can't, then I guess she could try putting the 10C one on the opposite wrist than the others and wear a long sleeve shirt, and hope they don't even notice them. But she should be prepared to lose them if she wears them.

I agree to better be safe then sorry. If they are not PJ wristbands then probably okay.

You could always talk to security ahead of time when in the GA line to confirm there won't be a problem.

She is going to risk having all her wristbands cut off, so she should be prepared. If you're both trying for the rail, it will be really stressful and she will get stuck getting onto the floor and potentially block everyone else behind her. Venue security for the most part have no empathy for concert goers, their main priority is doing their job (as it should be). So if they are told there should only be one wristband and they should cut off the others, they will do that no matter what you tell them, even if they aren't Pearl Jam wristbands. Even if they don't cut it off, she will still get stuck.

Yeah, that she will get delayed in line no matter what the end result is a good point. I don't think they'll be getting everyone to roll up both sleeves though, so her best bet would still probably be to keep the 10C band on a different arm and keep them completely hidden. Still a risk though, as Suziemay said.

Thanks, everyone. This is exactly the info I needed and it turns out it won't end up being an issue with her current wrist adornments. :)

I don't think so. I believe Kat said that people would be pulled aside to have wristbands cut off, so it wouldn't hold up the line or anything.
