10c reserved - Side stage vs floor

So I went to Philly 1 and 2. Had side stage seats (114, row 21) on Monday night, and had floor seats (sec 2, row 3) on Tuesday night. While the view might be better from the side stage, the sound is no comparison. The floor seats are 100x better! Granted I am 6'1", so seeing over people isnt a problem for me, but I want floor seats from now on. When you're on the floor, you can really feel the music much more than on the side.

Opposite for me, had side seats night 1 and section 1 floor seats night 2. Much preferred the side seats as I had the 2 tallest people in our section in front of me. My wife is short and she watched the show on the big screen. I don't care how much better the sound is, watching the band perform is part of the experience imho -- and floor seats are a gamble based on how tall you are/how tall those around you are. I still had an awesome time and thoroughly enjoyed both nights but good side seats are my choice every time vs. floor seats.

Yeah, I can understand your frustration not being able to see. But for me, because I dont have that problem, I prefer the floor seats simply because the sound is so much better. You can feel that bass and bass drum going right through your body!
