Anybody here a fan?
I've only been able to see them once in Calgary as part of a festival but I am planning to see them on November 8th in Santa Ana at the Observatory while I'm on holidays. Has anyone been to this venue? Good? Bad?
Also curious if anyone is going as I will be hitting this show alone.

Never seen them live, but have a few albums of theirs. I enjoy their music. Really enjoy "robbers and cowards." thefixer9 AKA Rico is a huge CWK fan. I think he has seen them a few times.

I am indeed a big CWK fan and I have seem them a couple of times, and let me tell you, they are great live! If you have a chance to see them, do it! Their last album was really good, actually, all of their albums are really good, as Kyle mentioned above, their debut album "Robbers and Cowards" is a fantastic album if you want to get into them.

    I love CWK.

Robbers & Cowards is by the numbers Cold War Kids but their warmest and most polished record is Mine Is Yours…happens to be my favorite of theirs. Not a bad album in their discography although Loyalty To Loyalty was a little brittle to me. But it has "Mexican Dogs' so there's always a silver lining.

One of by far the best songs of their career should've been on an album but foolishly was not: "Audience."
"I'm here to see Pearl Jam."- Bono

I 100% agree with you. Even though Mine Is Yours is their most poppy sounding album, it's probably my favorite. Loyalty is my least favorite, but has some great tunes like "Mexican Dogs", "Something is Not Right With Me" and "." Cryptomnesia"
