i nearly shat myself when i picked up my tickets. 1st row. right in front of mike. incredible experience. all those amazing things i read about over the years happened to me. drank from ed's wine. mike gave me a pick. got an ed pick too. got lots of points and nods from mike. he even gave me a shirt (a large ben sherman button up. strangest thing i've ever got at a concert.) i'll post some pictures when i get back home to portland.
i think i've been ruined from this point on. fucking amazing set list on top of being right there. it was almost too much to handle!!
AWESOOMMMMMMME!!!! Congrats to you!!
I hope I get lucky with front row!
Between the lottery system for seating and all the great setlists this is just turning out to be a great tour. I am only getting to DC this tour but that is ok. From the sounds of what they have been playing it will be well worth it.
Setlist from last night and from Bonnaroo were just amazing. Can't wait to get the boots!

Don't mean to push, but I'm being shoved!
thats what i thought, but i remember the 10c tickets not even selling out......

Right in front of Mike, First Row! Had to double check the seating chart before I could go crazy. Been to hundreds of shows throughout the years, many right on the front rail, but always having to hold back the crowd (GA). This is the first time with seats so it has much more personal space to go fuck'n nuts. An experience I'll never forget. I'm going to need to rest before the other shows. Thank you 10c
I WON THE LOTTTTERRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!
All the lottery winners around me were from florida (home court advantage?)
So, What you Giving ?........ (Thanks Speedy, Alesek, & Arq+friends)
What You Giving
I suggest you step out on your Porch.
Run away my son. See it all. Oh, See the World!
i'm not bagging on the old school ten club members at all. but this was the greatest idea the ten club has ever had. everyone sitting around me had the same look as i'm sure i did "oh my fucking god". my face hurt from smiling so much!! mike was outstanding. ed was outstanding.
everyone needs the chance to sit that close. i still can't believe i was that close.
and ed's wine was tasty. he seemed to be in an amazing mood as well.
i promise as soon as i get back to portland i'll post more and post some pictures. so keep your eye out for a thread bump a little later.
congratulations to you! Good to see the lottery seats were well appreciated.
This year I am attending my shows #10-14. This is however, my first 2 sets of 10c seats (DC & camden1). Closest I have ever been was side stage about 40 rows back. The rest of the time has been spent on the lawn. (the indoor venues have been far away too).
I'm always happy to be there - I LOVE PEARL JAM! - but listening to these stories, I don't know what I would do if I won the lottery!!! I have # 403XXX, so I know the seats won't be super close, but better than usual.
Good luck to all & if I win at either show - if you are sitting next to me - we are gonna ROCK!
congrats again!

Quick question (and please forgive my ignorance) -- what happens to tix that 10c members bought but can't pick up now that the non-transfer policy is strictly enforced? While trying to find a ticket to DC I came across three sets of 100-199xxx level 10c seats that were apparently going unused. If they are simply sold off that kind of blows for us in the 400's. Additionally, when is the lottery determined? At pick up? I would think so in order to ensure people actually get those seats...
Guess that was not so quick...
Congrats on the lotto win!

Awesome man u knwo eve3ryone sometimes bitches about the 10c But i have been to many of shows no other badn i know of give the REAL FANS a chance for great seats

Congratulations! There was a guy on the second row whose 10C # was in the 300XXX range.
My # is in the 114XXX range. I was in row 5, seats 21 & 22. I'm NOT complaining!
"Northwest meets Southeast. I hope you've enjoyed the altercation". -Atlanta, 09/01/98
was a really good idea for alittle change but, the people who were in the 1 and 2 row usually were pushed back to like the 4th row which means the other people behind them were more towrds the 7th row. i would think some people would be mad about it if u have a low number. i would like it done every other tour but, not every tour. but its nice to change up but, not forever. i heard the band planned or did this another time on the avacado tour and people were mad and in a frezie i think it was in indy.also at united center one year in the late 90s the fan club screwed fan club tickets up too. they gave the higher numbers front row seats. i think anyway as long as you are even in the venue thats all that counts. i remember seeing pj in europ in 2000 and people werent even picking up there fan club tickets. they laet about a hundred go to waste. kinda weird maybe something inportant came up where they couldnt travel. so hope everyone is happy seeing the shows and i hope you all try to win the lottery. have so much fun! wish i could of saw them. wonder why they didnt play chicago (its eds fave city) maybe because we got the vic and lolla. thats why.
most people on the board who are usually in the first couple of rows seemd happy to share the love. How else would any of us get a chance to be up close. I'm 403xxx and would be screwed seatwise forever! This is the first year I'm getting 10c tickets, but have been a fan for a long time & really appreciate the opportunity. (but I also see how it would suck for members with low #'s if they changed the rule) Thanks front rowers for sharing this time around!
"I knew all the rules, but the rules did not know me. Guaranteed."
Lottery winner tonight! My 10c # is 339xxx so ORCH 2 ROW J 7 and 8 looked completely unfamiliar on the tix. I thought, "What the hell does that mean?" and had to have the ticket lady show me on the diagram. Totally made my day as the drive from Columbia to Va. Beach was quite an ordeal (traffic + my lack of navigation ability = aggravation).
Thanks very much to the 10c for the opportunity. I was blown away, by both Kings of Leon and PJ. Very memorable night -- I'm fortunate to have had that chance.

We met great people at the preparty and after- best show ever- Indifference with the lights up- yes!!! Thank you 10C and thank you PJ you give so much to us- the shows are just beyond amazing!
I wonder if its possible to "lose" in the lottery, i.e. if you would be between rows 2-9 with your 10C number and then somehow end up in Row 10. Any thoughts?
Congrats on lotto winners, and good luck to all future winners!
here are some of my pictures. damn bastards wouldn't stop moving around! mostly mike and ed. jeff was always blurry and stone never came over towards me.
