Stone doesn't seem into it anymore

Maybe it's just stone being stone but IMO he just doesn't seem to happy up there on stage...
Both Philly shows he kind of hid next to boom and made very little interaction with the fans or band.
Just curious if anyone else felt the same way.
Hope stone doesn't do anything Rash

What, like record and release a more interesting album than PJ....
Like a book among the many on a shelf...
Dublin 02 Arena - 22/6/10. Belfast Odyssey Arena - 23/6/10. London Hyde Park - 25/6/10. Berlin Wuhlheide - 30/6/10.
Manchester MEN - 20/06/12. Manchester MEN - 21/06/120 -
He seems more into this tour than recent tours, IMO.

No way, dude! In fact, I was going to start a thread entitled "Welcome Back Stone!" because I've been going shows since 2000 and have NEVER seen him so into it!
I just saw both Brooklyn and Philly shows and Stone was fucking headbanging and soloing and even running around a bit and often had a huge smile on his face. He's more energized and into it than I've ever seen and it was the talk of my friends and the people around us how good it was to see him so happy playing up there.0 -
is this a serious thread?i'm more a fan of popular bands.. like the bee-gees, pearl jam0

Let's agree to disagree.I LOVE MUSIC.

Stone knows where u live and he's going to kick u in the shin for being so silly.0

I tend to agree with the OP. I can't speak to what he was like in the PJ hay day. But I felt like back in '09/'10 he was much more into it than he seemed in Worcester or Brooklyn this year.
Having said that, who really knows whats going on with Stone. He's a mystery and no fan will really figure him out.
Cant wait to see what happens in Hartford after he gets wind of this thread :corn:Post edited by EchosNobodyHears on2008 - 6/28, 6/30

disagree i feel stone is in to it in a big way. previous shows i would have agreed but this time. the band seems to have found a common ground with each other leading to very cohesive shows. its nice to see.0

this!
are you talking about Stone Gossard- the guitarist? Pearl Jam?
Stone's got some serious muthafukin rhythm pulsing in those veins...a drop of that shit will make your head spin.got a car...got some gas...oh let's get out of here-get out of here fast...
I hope you get this message but your not home...I will be there in just a minute or so...
I want to go but I want to go with you.

I've had enough, said enough, felt enough. I'm fine, still in it.0 -

Maybe he'll sing!
But I have to disagree with you. I was at Philly Monday night, and he definitely was into it.

He's defiantly into it just no so much with the crowed, he jams with himself and with the other band members.
We were on the rail right in front of him in Pittsburgh and my uncles quote was "Stone is all business" I agree with that for the most part.0 -
Stone was more into it at Wrigley than I've ever seen him...well, minus London 2005, when he danced...Minneapolis 1998 | Jones Beach I & II, Montreal, and Toronto 2000 | Buffalo, State College, Toronto, Montreal and Hershey 2003 | Boston I & II 2004 | Thunder Bay, Kitchener, London, Hamilton, Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto 2005 | Toronto I & II 2006 | The Vic and Lollapalooza 2007 | Calgary and Toronto 2009 | PJ20 I & II, Toronto I & II, Ottawa, Calgary and Edmonton 2011 | London, Chicago, Spokane, Calgary, Vancouver and Seattle 2013 | Ottawa and Toronto I & II 2016 | Chicago I & II 2018 | Ottawa, Hamilton and Toronto 2022 | Philadelphia I & II 20240

In Pitts I couldn't see anything - just backs of heads. But I was STONE SIDE in Buff and he had a strong connection and movement with the crowd! 8-)Oh please let it rain today.
