    Steroidal drugs to treat Crohn's?

I felt really bad for Mike seeing him on that video. He's really taken care of himself since then.

I have Ulcerative Colitis, a variation of Crohns that only affects the colon. Having gone through lots of treatments I'm pretty sure he was on Prednisone at that time. A significant side effect is "moon face." Yes that's what was listed on my prescription. I gained lots of water weight, especially in my face. It's hard to work out as well, because joint pain is another significant side effect. But on the plus side I stopped having to go to the bathroom every 15 minutes. People tend to take it to put Crohns into remission while transferring to a treatment that has less taxing daily side effects.

It's not really any of our business, but we all know he's always had and been open about his health issues, as well as the drug issues for some of the 90s. So there is probably no point in asking about what happened during that time.

    I agreed.

And I think it's just weird to question when someone gains weight. We all do, for various reasons from time to time, and many times, it doesn't need a reason other than that we like to eat food. In Mike's case it was different.

Either way, I'm scratching my head why someone would even bother...

That's the whole thing. Private, personal and none of our business.
He looks great now, obviously feels fantastic, is shredding and melting, and is on top of his game.
