Band Bench - Fallon

So I got selected to be on the Band Bench at the Fallon performance on Thursday. Pretty jazzed about it, but have a couple questions for anyone going

1) It's my understanding for the regular portion of the show I will be sitting in the last 2 rows of the theater and then they bring us up to the stage right before the performance. Is this correct? Any interaction with the Band at all? I am assuming they send us right out when its done, but just curious if any chance to say a quick hello or anything.

2) Since PJ is playing in Hartford on Friday, and Fallon is advertising performances on both Thursday/Friday, I am assuming both performances are being taped on Thursday? I was asked to be at the theater for 5:30 with a 6:15 taping.
Does anyone know if Fallon is taping two shows on Thursday with different audiences, or one show but two PJ performances (one to be shown on Friday night). I though Fallon usually tapes earlier (like 4ish).

Pretty excited even to be this close to them and also to maybe be on TV!

Jimmy tapes his shows Mon-Fri with a 5:30 taping. If you were asked to be there for 5:30 with a 6:15 taping, then this would indicate that he will be taping earlier than normal for Thursday airing and a bit later for the Friday airing.

Typically, musical guests don't play multiple nights on a late-night show. To accommodate Pearl Jam, it would seem they are taping both on Thursday.

If I had to guess, you will be a part of the taping that will air Friday.

Just a guess though. Have fun!!!

At the Brooklyn II show there was a guy from the band walking around the GA section asking who was in the fan club, from NY and could be in the city on Thursday. If you answered yes to all three questions, he put your name on a list and gave you a piece of paper with the info on it.

Yes you sit in the last 2 rows. I was there when Tres Mts. were performing. I wasn't on the bench. But saw the people who were.

    Awesome!!
I was there for the last show ..
Yes you sit in last two rows.. no interaction with band until they come on stage (to your applause)..
They will record both Thursday and Friday at same recording.. They will move people around so you don't see the same people in same places two nights in a row.
And if they don't like how the song comes out, they might do more than one take...
    We got 21/2 for Mother..

    Enjoy!!
