I am sitting home trying to heal my eye and therefore not being productive at all... and I found myself missing the excitement of the recent setlist threads
4 of us will be making the trip from the Jersey Shore area to Hartford Friday. Any cool hangouts in the area where other 10c folks will be gathered before and/or after the show?
YA BLACKBEAR is probably most fun place and best crowd, especially after... City Steam real good beers, its a comedy club actually but does pretty well too... Up on the Rocks is more like a club, probably wouldnt advise there... Im sure someother can add to the couple I suggested . I live in MASS But work in downtown Hartford
This is gonna be a great show. I have a feeling it'll offset the hit-laden Worcester II I was at. It was a great show, we did get "Otherside", but there were a lot of hits played that night...

This is by no means a dig but I was at Worcester2 as well, and I've gotta say -- Otherside was pretty meh. They killed the hits and the crowd (and I) ate it up which was all I needed. Granted, I'm not a 30 show vet like a lot of folks on these boards but I can't see how that version of Otherside could've pleased anyone beyond the song chasers. There's a 'be careful what you wish for' message when looking for the really deep cuts. Parachutes was played much better at Philly2 than Otherside at Worcester2... in fact, Ed owned it but the fan response seemed pretty blah.
However, the band brought the house down with In Hiding and Blood at Brooklyn2, a couple very well known songs that are seldom played.
I think Hartford will be a great show, too... here's hoping they play what they want to play rather than tunes they have ignored for years with good reason. I guess thats what I'm getting at... but also, the folks you're surrounded by at the show can have an impact on the resonance of a seldom played song.

I just love that Eddie had the lyric sheet in his hands and still screwed it up admirably. It was still fun to hear them bust it out. I totally get what you're saying though. I too want them to play what they want to play, but I want them to want to play what I want them to play. Is that too much to ask?
It's ok....Sometimes you find yourself having to put all your Faith .......in No Faith.
"...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".
"..That's One Happy Fuckin Ghost.."
“..That came up on the Pillow Case...This is for the Greek, With Our Apologies.....”
If you've never sat behind the stage, yes it's a different experience, but it's awesome! You get to see a lot of band interaction you never see from the front (best view of Matt!) I've seen Bruce several times from behind the stage and it's been a great experience. Enjoy
No slow start please , i wan't them to come out and kick me in my face start the way LB starts give me the 1st three songs ..
Get Away >>>MYM >>>>MFS .............
yeah,this must happen
"...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".

These threads start earlier and earlier! Can't wait for tomorrow! Even though I'm not going, I'll be with some good people, listening to some boots, and following the show. A good time indeed.
I've been fortunate enough to see Pearl Jam live.
I am hanging in the balance of a perfect finished plan

You gotta check out the Wishlist Foundation PreParty/Fundraiser. Very fun events, great causes, dedicated volunteers, and funs with PJ friends!

I was bummin about my seats back there for Brooklyn until I got the view. Fun as hell! Wouldn't want it every show but man, it was so cool to see the crowd go crazy!
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!
