Here's an odd request. Does anybody have Eddie's speech inducting Neil and/or The Ramones into the R&R HOF?
Thanks.

Now 2 quick questions...
#1 Downloaded the Washington D.C 98 show & was wondering where the 3 Speeches go in the setlist..
I noticed on my download that there was no speech 3. I looked at the blog that I downloaded the show from, listened to the speeches, and checked the set lists from that section on the 'Ten Club' site. Daughter was listed twice on that site, but I think I figured everything out. I believe this is about 99% correct. If I'm wrong about anything, let me know and I'll edit this post to be more correct.
Here it goes:
1998-Sept. 19: Washington D.C.
1.I Am a Patriot (pre-set)
2.introduction speech
3.Long Road
4.Act of love
5.Hail hail

9.Wishlist
10.Not For You
11.All those yesterdays
12.Daughter
13.Whipping

set: Release, Last Exit, Spin the Black Circle, Tremor Christ, Not for You, Corduroy, Lukin, Dissident, Act of Love, Animal, State of Love and Trust, Daughter/(W.M.A) /(Stuff and Nonsense), Improv , Whipping, Immortality, Go
enc 1: The Kids Are Alright, Porch, Jack Irons chant/Blood
enc 2: Jam, Satan's Bed, Rearviewmirror, Instrumental Jam
enc 3: Act of Love
notes: Free tickets were mailed to Ten Club members and PJ appeared as the "Piss Bottle Men." A new song/improv ('The Price of Everything' ?) is dedicated to Riz Rollins, a Seattle record store clerk and occasional funk DJ. Ed explains 'Whipping' as a song "... about getting hit in the face, turning your cheek and getting hit again. Come to think of it, all the songs are about that." 'The Kids Are Alright' is solo by Ed, accompanying himself on guitar. Neil Young joins PJ in a surprise 'Act of Love' encore.
"hear my name, take a good look, this could be the day."
set: Oceans, Go, Animal, Even Flow (song stopped), Corduroy, Whipping, Better Man, Dissident, Last Exit, Spin the Black Circle, Tremor Christ, Jeremy, Daughter/(Stepping Stone), Improv, State of Love and Trust, Black, Not for You, Immortality, Alive, Blood/Improv (One of Those Days), I Got Shit, Rearviewmirror, Yellow Ledbetter
enc: Forever in Blue Jeans, Porch
notes: Security permitted cameras into this show. There is no pit at this venue and the seats are bolted down. The mood was tentative, given the outcome of the previous show in San Francisco. After becoming comfortable with an extremely appreciative audience, the show became unforgettable. Long, jammy version of 'Alive.' Stone discovers a new, goofy riff to inject into the middle of 'Blood' and the band has a good laugh over it. Eddie addresses the crowd before 'Not For You' about the recent tour difficulties. He quips, "I gotta tell ya, my stomach hurts like hell right now. I think I got cryptosporidium," a reference to a cryptosporidium outbreak in the Milwaukee water system in the early 90s. (Recall he left the stage early at PJ's previous show in San Francisco due to food poisioning.) Ed brings out a Neil Diamond impersonator and the guy's wife (local folks, Thunder and Lightning) to sing 'Forever in Blue Jeans.' Ed pulls up a chair and crosses his legs like he's just sitting in a coffee house with a few friends and sings the second verse. Fun show with the guys showing a lot of energy.
"hear my name, take a good look, this could be the day."
set: Go, Last Exit, Spin the Black Circle, Animal, Corduroy/Not for You, Dissident, Even Flow, Jeremy, Habit, I Got Shit, Glorified G, Daughter/(Stepping Stone), Black, Rearviewmirror, Immortality, Alive, Porch
enc: Leaving Here, Better Man, Yellow Ledbetter
notes: Ed enters the stage on an old bike and remarks, "This place sucks ... obviously that is the farthest thing from the truth. Just like us going back to Ticketmaster is the farthest thing from the truth." 'Habit' is played for the first time by the whole band, though it was also played during the Mike Watt tour (Ed only). 'Leaving Here,' a High Numbers song, is premiered at this concert.

hey everyone, i have a little issue that came up recently. i have traded some shows via pm with people and have been told that megaupload makes you pay for anything over 250mb to download... i think yousendit.com lets you post up to 1gb for free. is that right? i hate that people have paid (just $2, but still) to dl some of the shows i've sent them. i may be switching to yousendit.com if it will let you do more than 250mb...
anyone???

Yousendit downloads only stay available for 7 days/25 downloads, Megaupload lasts forever. I know it seems harsh to have to pay $2, but few boots actually are over 250mb.

thanks for the input. i'll stick with megaupload. i agree, they do last longer so it's probably worth it to use that site and spread the jam a little longer. i guess i could always just break the shows into 2 pieces too, to stay under the 250mb limit.

Here is Pittsburgh 9-5-2000...
It showcases 1 of only 2 times that "I Got You" was ever played. A true lost dog and great song. Also memerable was Eddy bringing up a girl on stage that requested "wash" by painting it on an umbrella. That was the first time they played Wash in 4 years.
***Does anyone have Pittsburgh 8-25-1998? I was there and would love a copy. Please post or PM me.*****
Set list for 9/5/2000
Set 1 Even Flow, Hail Hail, Animal, Corduroy, Grievance, In My Tree, Nothing As it Seems, Light Years, Daughter/(Bull in The Heather), Leatherman, Better Man/(Save it for Later), Sleight Of Hand, Given To Fly, Last Exit, Rearviewmirror, I Got Id, Black, Porch
Encore 1 Breakerfall, Go, Once, Mankind, Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town, Crazy Mary, Wash, I Got You, Insignificance
Encore 2 Baba O'Riley
"Fuck the talkin', let's start rockin'" E.V. Pittsburgh 2000.
Does anyone have the show where they perfromed All Along the Watchtower. I am dying to hear them do this. If anyone can put that on here I would be so greatful. I think it was done at a recent portland oregon show.
Thanks
I don't want to be all "Lars Ulrich", but we're not supposed to post/trade '05 and '06 boots. There are ways to get them, but I don't think anyone on this "offical" board is really gonna talk about that here. This tread is super rad and I don't think anyone wants to see this tread locked.

A killer show from the 2000 tour. Good setlist, great sound, great energy. One of Mike McCready's best. Hotter than the temperature outside today. Get it while it's hot. You WILL enjoy!
Thanks to everyone who's posted a show in this thread.

I agree and don't really think it's being "Lars Ulrich" to remind people of this (this issue has caused problems from time to time). The band has expressly stated that they don't want Basecamp recordings traded until they are no longer available for purchase. Some people don't understand this, but don't forget that the Basecamp software had to be developed by someone who put a lot of upfront work into it and deserves to be rewarded. Also, don't forget that Brett Eliason has to mix every show and somebody has to put everything in a form available for download within a short time (look back at all the bitching that was going on when it was taking 72 whole hours to get a show to us.) Those people need to be compensated for their work.
If respect for the band's wishes and for those that put work into making the bootlegs available so cheaply and quickly isn't enough to convince you, then just consider the consequences if the band and/or Basecamp get decide that there is too much trading of shows that they have asked not be traded: what if they stop? Then we're back to fan recordings of unreliable quality and that are difficult and expensive to obtain.

I have a poster from the montreal/Toronto shows in 1998 0 the guy riding the tractor.
I'd ideally love to trade it for a black full-back hat from the Riot Act tour - black hat with yellow/black PJ on the front and back.
