I also have quite a few live shows from non-PJ bands, bands that are quite a bit different from PJ: Soul Coughing, Mike Doughty solo shows, Toadies, Eve 6.
I'd love a great sounding copy of 9-29-04, the second Boston pre-VFC show...anyone have one, PM me...I don't have that much to trade, so if you don't want what I have and you'd be willing to do a B & P, let me know...
Thanks!
"Actually, we're a complete fraud. We can't sing, play or write songs, we get other people to do it for us. We also pay radio stations lots of money to tell kids to buy our records and wear clothes like us."
I really wanted an audio copy of this, and then someone posted the video, so i made it an audio and here it is (Daly City, California 12/31/91 http://www.megaupload.com/?d=OZHIX27Z
The set is: Once, Evenflow(Suggestion)/Why Go, Jeremy, Alive, Leash (Smells Like Teen Spirit), Porch
Key Notes: Eddie does a stage dive and then asks for his testis back, and sings two lines from smells like teen spirit (It was a festival and nirvana was playing after them)

11/01/92 - Shoreline Amphitheatre: Mountain View, CA (Bridge School Benefit) (acoustic)
Setlist: Footsteps, Jeremy, Black, Alive, Daughter, Angel, I Am a Patriot
Show Notes: This benefit for the Bridge School, a program for communicative and educational development of severely physically challenged non-speaking children, also featured Neil Young, Elton John, James Taylor, Shawn Colvin and Sammy Hagar. PJ plays revised versions of 'Jeremy' and 'Black,' premiers 'Daughter' and performs Steven Van Zandt's I Am A Patriot with Ed on guitar for the first time. 'I Am a Patriot.' 'Angel' is particularly sweet and has only been played live once before.
09/29/96 - Downing Stadium (Randall's Island): New York, NY [168m]
Setist: Sometimes, Go, Spin the Black Circle, Hail Hail, Animal, Tremor Christ, Who You Are, Corduroy, Lukin, Better Man, Not for You, Jeremy (new), Once, Rats, Last Exit, Habit, Rearviewmirror, Immortality, Whipping, I Got Shit, Black, Alive, Porch
Encore 1: In My Tree, Even Flow, Daughter/(The Real Me)/(ABitW)/(WMA), Mankind, Long Road, Leaving Here
Encore 2: Off He Goes, Present Tense, Yellow Ledbetter
Show Notes: A nearly three-hour show with a raging pit. The band stops playing several times in an effort to get the crowd to settle down. During 'Porch,' Ed duct-tapes his *entire* body and jumps into the pit. (Thought we'd never see that again!) Just before the first encore, someone throws an "Eddie Vedder for President" t-shirt up on stage. Ed looks at it and says, "Well I'll tell you the truth ... I smoke pot! I didn't exhale though!" Stone asks for a chant of "Stone, Stone, Stone!" before singing 'Mankind.' During the encore, Mike starts playing 'Yellow Ledbetter' after 'Leaving Here,' Ed stops him and they go into 'Off He Goes' followed by 'Present Tense!' Incredible setlist, Legendary show.
11/02/95 - Delta Center: Salt Lake City, UT [135m]
Setlist: Release, Even Flow, Last Exit, Animal, Dissident, Not for You, Rearviewmirror (w/ Who teaser), Better Man, Go, Glorified G, Daughter/(Young Man Blues)/(W.M.A.), Deep, Jeremy, Corduroy, Lukin, I Got Shit, Brain of J, Black, State of Love and Trust, Porch
Encore: Sonic Reducer, Whipping, Leaving Here, Immortality, Yellow Ledbetter
Show Notes: Monkeywrench Radio broadcast this show. The improv after 'Daughter' is a modified 'Young Man Blues' modifying the lyrics to "young girl's blues." 'Brain of J' premiers. Ed comments about how "it's almost like tonight we're playing for you and last night we were playing for your parents." This comment is made because the crowd isn't very responsive and (according to his comments on Monkeywrench Radio), they had intended to play a little longer (extra encore), but everyone left early!
How's the quality for this show?
I downloaded the version from that gdlive.com site a couple of years ago and the quality is not that great. Heard there are much more better quality versions available...
Its pretty good quality, better than gdlive if my memory serves me well.
REMEMBER KIDS....
The Bible is full of lies - Stone is the leader of us all!

Can you or anyone else possibly repost this show? Sorry to ask; I came in late here so the link isn't working.
Thanks a million for your help.
I need ONE more show, and that's Randall's Island II from 1996. Can anyone post it please??

The Bible is full of lies - Stone is the leader of us all!

The Bible is full of lies - Stone is the leader of us all!
