09/06/98 - Thompson-Boling Arena: Knoxville, TN ... http://www.megaupload.com/?d=OGYQYSFO
I'm still lost on this show. It's been posted a number of different times and I've downloaded it, but every version I get is missing the three encores ("Go"/"Rearviewmirror"/"Do the Evolution"/"Hard to Imagine"/"Black"/"Last Kiss"/"Leaving Here")...
The show is itself a toss-up, amazing setlist, an eight-minute long version of "Present Tense" that must have been amazing to see live that night-- but the sound quality on the boot isn't fantastic or anything, I don't know what generation it is, and it sounds like it was edited, since there is no applause/break between most of the tracks, and the sound levels don't match, a song ends, applause begins and then all of a sudden there's a lurch into the next track. It sounds like someone cut away almost all the crowd noises, encore breaks or stage banter to make sure the entire main set would fit on one compact disc.
I've only heard this one version of the Knoxville show.
I really enjoy the blogspot site, and I can't say enough how cool it was for the two or three of you working on them to do the artwork for those '96 shows. I fucking love them. They're all unique, but Warsaw and Amsterdam are my favorite designs. Prague and Cascais II are great too, I can't tell what some of the polaroids are of, but... it doesn't matter. I thought some of the artwork was fitting (i.e. Dublin)
I hope future shows get artwork, there were a lot of great posters for the 1998 tour but I can't think of them now. I'm so busy with one era of the band, and whenever I come back to 1998 I have so few shows (less than a dozen). Pearl Jam came back with a vengeance that year, so the '96 fan recordings sound better in some ways than the '98 ones. I don't know. I've got a couple amazing shows. Wish I had more to offer this community. Heaven knows it's been very kind to me.AtPeacew/MyLust wrote:Someone asked for this on page 27.......and I have gone through all 60 pages looking for it. Just wondering if anyone has itThe show was incredible!
I have nothing to offer in return other than my everlasting graditudeThe only shows I have are the ones already on page 1.
You guys are awesome! Thanks for the 6/26/98 Alpine Valley. I am listening to it right now for the first time since that night....which was my second show ever!
10-05-04 St. Louis and 10-11-04 D.C. are the only two shows missing from the VFC mini-tour. I have to say, listening to those shows, I really dig the vibe of them. I hope the others surface sometime soon.
And sorry, I don't have Ottawa from last year. If I did I'd share the song you want with you. Good luck.0 -

Where in the world have all the '98 shows gone? Looking at the set lists there seems to be some many great shows that nobody seems willing to post or nobody has. Not that there aren't some good ones already posted, but some really good ones are still missingAll I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

Hey,
I don't post here too much, but I constantly lurk and would just like to send out a huge thanks to everyone who has participated in uploading these boots. I've gotten alot of amazing stuff from here, and its really appreciated.
However, there's two soundboard-sourced shows I didn't see here, that I'd love to add to my collection if anyone would be so kind to upload them.

Both from Sportspaleis Ahoy in Rotterdam.
Thanks in advance.0
