Sure did. Must have been Kat or Sea. There were a couple of posts for bootlegs other than PJ in this thread that have since been removed.

So I suppose we are to take from the change in title name that we are only to post links to PJ boots in this thread.

Makes sense I guess. I was in violation of this rule too since I posted the AIC show a few days ago. I figured they were at least related to PJ by city and era ;)

We respect other artists' copyrights. Any trading of other artists should be on their sites.

Also, the 2008 shows are available on pearljam.com. Thank you for not posting links to audience recordings. When the band is offering their music to people, the traders have understood and not posted links to a poorer quality item of the same thing. It's one thing to have recorded your own personal momento of the show just for yourself and then it's another thing to distribute it all over the internet when one of the most important things to the band is sound quality. Thank you everyone for cooperating.

Thanks for explaining that Kat. :)

I will be sure not to share any audience recordings I obtain for this year any further.

Does this mean we can get FLAC's from the 2005 tour?

    a) the official bootlegs are not available for another 2 weeks.. we're not a patient bunch in case you hadn't noticed..
    b) audience recordings of all the tours for which there was official boots exist..they're not widely available because people ain't stupid and rather have a better quality. you're talking about quality, but really you mean business.
    b) releasing some audience now can actually wet people's appetite for the better quality version, INCREASING business.
    c) not everyone can afford to shell out another $10 or $15 after paying $70+ for the tickets.. or even $150 having been forced to buy a pair, finding themselves unable to resell the spare for love or money..hell, I had troubles finding someone to GIVE my spare to tonight, and it was in the 100s section, not the 200s! Let alone right after the tour
    d) some people actually PREFER audience recordings.

I taped all the shows myself but Bonnaroo came out bad (as GA always do with me :p) so I'm glad someone else posted it so we were able to listen to it on teh way from Columbia to VB.

The policy doesn't state you can only tape for personal use (and what is personal use? only you? your friends too so they can listen to it on the drive to the next show? but not their friends, as if you could control that anyway? or the ones back home that can't make it at all?..internet is making the world small and the friends widespread, music industry people really have to start getting that into their head).

I'll take the official recordings of the 07 shows if you offer them, but I have no choice about them right now... I will buy the 08 to encourage the program, though beside my recordings I know I will be able to get the official ones, for free, within hours of their release.
Releasing audiences of the 08 is giving people a choice, but most will chose the best quality WHEN it's available... in the meantime, they want their fix.

So please get off our back, we're just trying to spread the love of the music, respond to a demand, no-one is trying to steal from the band..we might even be helping the business here (I say we but I haven't got around to releasing anything yet :o)

    It is still on Itunes

to the best of my knowledge the only soundboard is that one and Itunes files are protected so you can't share them.
