Has anyone heard or seen if venues are releasing tickets the day of the show? I'll buy from a scalper if I have to in Dallas because there are only nosebleeds available online without paying out the ass. (I know, that's how it goes)

Just curious if there might be hope left in scoring decent (legitimate) seats day of from the box office.
It's amazing what you hear when you take time to listen.

Haven't done it in a while, but years ago (ie 1998, 2000) they would often release seats day of show through Ticketmaster. They usually ended up being decent reserved seats in floor levels or closer sections.

My friend purchased 4 tix in section 112 last night around 7:00 at the box office...
37 PJ Shows, 3 EV Shows, 1134 Total Songs, 24 Different Openers, 9 Different Closers, 252 Unique Songs (never enough)
  • I saw that @pearljam tweeted during the day last week that the box office just released additional tickets for the Worcester shows. With that in mind, I called the Philly box office a few times during the day yesterday about more tickets being released. I was told that they never get advanced notice on whether or not tickets will be released the day of the show. The event promoter comes in during the day and makes that determination at some point.

I had 10c seats for last night but was hoping to get 2 more for night 2. I finally made my last call around 4 yesterday on my drive to the show and lucked out and got 2 lower level seats directly facing the stage on the opposite side of the arena. So if this is your strategy, it does work. Good luck to you.

Awesome....thanks to you all so much! This makes me even more excited for the show! Already have my 10c tix for OKC, but rolling the dice on this Dallas show. Great tips, we'll see how it goes!
