Some Love for Matt's Drumming - Geddy Lee Solo Album

I think some reference to this was posted on the boards before - I mention it again because I gave it another listen the other day. For those that might have missed it, Matt was the drummer on Geddy Lee's solo album - which is great IMO. Obviously as the vocalist for RUSH, there are some similarities to the band's efforts but Geddy's album is much different than a RUSH album (more accessible and less prog-rock) and with Matt drumming it's a bonus...anyway, just sharing with the group in case someone missed it.

Decent album. Seeing as how PJ and Rush are my 2 favorite bands, this pairing made me happy when I heard about it back when the album was coming out. It's a pretty good album, but not quite on par with Rush material.

I have a signed copy of it (Geddy only) :)

Good call - I do like this one, but it's been quite a while since I spun it... have to dig the CD out tonight.

From a technical stanpoint, I would certainly agree with you but I actually like it more than some RUSH albums...cool to have a signed copy...not sure but I think the guitarist (Ben Mink) is from Toronto
