Can We Get A "Tickets" Forum or Special Colored Icon?

I'd love to see a separate "Tickets" forum, maybe with stickies for each city/night. Or maybe the long-running "Extra Tickets for Sale/Trade- Post HERE" thread could be moved up to "sticky" status in Given To Fly. As it is the GTF forum just becomes jammed with threads about tickets any time you're close to a tour. Right now there are 22 non-sticky threads on the first page of GTF; and 17 of them are about buying or selling tickets.
This just seems like a sub-optimal situation for lots of people. If you're looking for tickets, it is likely that your thread will be bumped to page 2 or 3 within a few hours of posting. So the temptation is to post yet another thread or bump your original thread. Either way you spend a lot of time worrying, writing, refreshing as the days, then the hours tick away. If you're not a buyer or seller meeting that specific poster's needs, then you just sit there and watch as all non-ticket content in this forum is completely overrun. If we're going to continue using individual threads, maybe we could at least have a way to indicate they're ticket-related and have those posts tagged with a colored icon to make it easier for everyone else to wade through the forums without having to read every ticket-related post.
A separate forum, with stickies for each night or at least each city seems like it would be a significant improvement. What I'd really love to see is some kind of official second-hand ticket exchange, but I imagine that would require a significant investment of time and money on the part of the Ten Club, with no real benefit to the band or the club.
Anyone have other suggestions? Anything members themselves could do either in the forums or at the venues to make the process of connecting buyers and sellers less stressful?

Yeah, I spent about two hours outside of Barclays Center on Friday constantly refreshing this site and stubhub while I asked people in line and coming out of the subway if they had an extra available. By the time I scored a ticket I had run my battery down from 100% to about 20%. And that's when I thought "there has to be a better way".

Good idea about locking threads after the show then removing the whole thing after the tour. That seems like a very tidy way to clean up GTF. And no, you're not being too OCD
It seems reasonably doable since after the show we get the 'fanviews' thread right away or within an hour or two... so it would be just a couple more clicks on the admin's part to lock the ticket thread for that show.
I also doubt it would take more than a few minutes to set up at the start of each tour - HOWEVER i can see them not wanting to do it because perhaps 10c doesn't want to actively support ticket trading. You know it's one thing not to stop us from making threads ourselves, but another thing entirely to make a forum specifically for buy/sell/trade of tickets. It could be argued that the 10c sets up the tickets so that you are buying tickets that only you will use - that's why they don't allow members to transfer tickets to other members, why we need id to pick up the tickets etc. And this is all done in the name of preventing ticket scalping right? so.. yea. It would be awesome and I agree that GTF forum is hard to look at right now - the first 2 pages are all PHILLY 2 TICKETS FOR SALE!!! right now - but I don't see them actually doing this. Though I wish they would.
