In my opinion, San Diego was better - it was just a special show. LA was great, but different. The crowd just was better in San Diego. That's just my opinion.

mostly same songs, same order. Been to 20 plus shows, and for the first time i got a little bored. "State of Mississippi" was for sure the highlight

I would have to say SD. There was more constant energy throughout the whole night. More energy in SD packed into an arena half the size. Both shows were awesome, however the band and the whole environment in SD made it that much better.

LA night 1 was a very strong show. But San Diego was hands down the best Pearl Jam show I've ever seen dating back to '95. Not only that, but I'm a veteran of over 400 concerts the last 20+ years and I have to say it was one of the best shows I've ever seen period.

  • I was at both. SD was better for sure! LA kicked some serious fuckin ass though. I never thought they would even come CLOSE to SD and they made a run for it. Tim Robbins was pretty damn cool. SD just had all the extra little things in each song, though. Full Save it for Later, that improv after Life Wasted, the story about Long Road, climbing the ladder in Last Kiss. Eddie just had soooooo much emotion in SD. He was all over the place and was the happiest I've ever seen him. They are happy to be on the west coast that is for sure. These 3 shows(Vegas, SD, LA) all are in my top 5 all time so far! The boys are on fire!! I can't wait for tomorrow.

  • I was off the floor, but my friend was in the second row and said Eddie puked while McCready was playing the star spangled banner. That's ok, I cried. No chance of puking since no booze after the first 1/2 hour

San Diego....by a big fat TKO!

But LA was good. I think we did it justice.....

Or enough justice for them to give up Crown Of Thorns!

  • San Diego had more emotion and energy. In LA we had pretty good 10c seats but we moved down and ended up sitting next to I think the bands family(PJ VIP passes)and they all were so mellow and sitting down the whole time-it was kinda strange, then some drunk asshole kept trying to jump in front of me to get pictures of Eddie and kept slamming into me nearly knocking me over. Dont get me wrong LA was a really great show but I still keep thinking about San Diego. Cant wait for Santa Barbara!!!!

San Diego by far. The crowd in LA was NOT what I expected. Only the front floor and side lowers were pumped. The back of the arena was just "there". This was the least favorite of my 3 trek tour(Vegas, SD, LA1, LA2). But don't get me wrong. I would even like the worst show ever because hell, it's PEARL JAM!!!

  • San Diego HANDS DOWN. I mean...last night was good, but no where near the same energy/connection that the SD show had...
  • As everyone's been saying, San Diego was better. San Diego was without a doubt, the best concert I've ever been to. Such energy from the crowd and the band. From now on, I'm going to see shows in San Diego whenever I can...

SD was more unique and a better crowd. More people were into it....BUT LA was awesome. My section was all over it, and I had a blast.

    What a great weekend.
