So what happened with the BK posters?

Looks like these were far different than Worcester, where there were stacks that didn't sell. Were there just less quantity? More people buying? Combo of the two?

I wondered the same thing. I was able to get both nights fairly easily. Even had enough time to drop them back off at the hotel room. I am definitely not complaining, wish they were all that easyI change by not changing0

I thought there were plenty of Brooklyn posters. I didn't check after the show, but they were still available at 8:00 on Saturday.0

Not sure about Brooklyn, but both Worcester posters were available after each show. Maybe they've come to their senses and finally printed enough.0
-
By the end of the night, all Brooklyn posters were gone as far as I could see...0

I just couldn't believe my eyes when after the show(BK 2) several folks were walking out with dented and even ripped posters. Why even bother.TRANSPLANTS SAVE LIVES

Tell me about it. When we arrived back at the airport, we were passed by a guy with a poster with 2 rubber bands around it and it was all crushed and almost flat. I was cringing inside.I change by not changing0 -
There were Brooklyn 2 posters for sale during the second encore break. I can confirm that.0

Once we accept this it is much easier to pass on making a purchase.___________________________________________

The Wrigley posters were terrible.
Pittsburgh was beautiful, Buffalo was good.
But Worcester 1 and 2, Brooklyn 1and 2, Philly 1...all disappointing.
I will admit that I bought the Klausen on Night 2 in Worcester but if they had been sold out I wouldn't have complained. More often than not lately the posters are just not living up to the frenzy they generate.___________________________________________

They were easily the worst of what we have seen so far.Enjoy difference. Without it we're all boring!0 -
I think Pitt is the best so far. I do prefer Worcester 1 over 2 though.JimmyV wrote:The Wrigley posters were terrible.

and thats not saying much.... So far, they've all been disappointing. Including the Soto, the character just seems self serving to me. Hopefully saving the set of Horkeys for Dallas and OKC 8-)IT'S EVOLUTION BABY!!!!!0 -

I think poster popularity at shows was decreasing every since 2006. Maybe not lack of popularity as it may have been that a higher amount of posters were printed, but it wasn't as difficult to buy at shows and it was even easier to buy the posters from the Ten Club sale online.
Wrigley Field was a totally different story as it was a one-off show, but posters for a tour aren't going to sell out as quickly (unless they are really amazing) and it won't be surprising to see them available during and after the show, as well as the posters hanging out for weeks and years in the Goods section like some of the posters from recent tours.
The poster designs aren't really consistently good either in my opinion so people aren't buying as many posters for shows they don't attend.0 -
The show-specific t-shirts have become more popular than the posters. They are flying off the shelves much faster than the posters this tour, particularly in popular sizes (L/XL) . Maybe there's simply more posters being printed? Perhaps. But simply from a "demand" perspective, the t-shirts have taken over.0

I think Pitt is the best since Donkey Kong and MIA. All they have to do is make a poster with references to the city and it's always better.'08- Camden 1-2 '09- Chicago 2; Spectrum 1-4
