    i have noticed on this tour, that they are using large baffles in between their respective "rigs" in order to try and subdue some of the stage volume... for example, trying to keep some of mikes guitar, and jeffs bass, away from eddie, to lower his stage volume, to make singing easier.

    i know they have a new monitoring rig, and that the band is about 1 foot further back from ED than they have been in the past too, all in an effort to help ED. stage volume has apparently always been an issue for this band.

    there is a BLOG that PJ's monitor tech updates now and again called "sound girls" or something like that, she mentions some of this stuff.
