Then I'd move East Rutherford 2 up on my list and Newark 2010 would be in there as well.
I guess the problem is where you stop -- Nassau? (as was previously mentioned), Camden?

MSG 1 2010 (Best crowd I've ever seen, and a pretty freaking awesome show that would have had people talking if the 2nd night hadn't topped it)
Jones Beach 2 2000 (It's OK - best concert moment I have ever been part of. the DVD still gives me goosebumps.)
Jones Beach 3 2000 * (Wasn't actually in the venue, but heard it fine from the gates. Otherwise I'd rank it higher. So much No Code!)
Meadowlands II 2006 (Don't Gimme No Lip!!)

I think that including any venue within 25 miles or so of Manhattan where the sports team calls itself "New York" is totally appropriate. IE., NY Giants/Jets (Meadowlands), New York Islanders (Nassau). JB isn't that much father away than Nassau, and was their only area gig in 2000. Holmdel clearly is not "New York."

Camden was more of a philly show, not a NYC area show. Meadowlands, prudential center and Nassau coliseum I would definitely count as NYC area shows.
