Anyone else notice the guy jump on stage...

...during Severed Hand at the Reading show?

I checked for other posts about this, but I didn't find anything.

I've watched this show several times now, and this is the first time I've seen this. Either I just hadn't noticed it before, or my local microbrewery added something to their special dark! It's at about 17:45 on the BBC broadcast; guy jumps onto the stage on the right (from our viewpoint) and runs across behind Ed, and security catches up with him behind Mike.

...or maybe it really is just those pesky microbrewery boys...

    Yeah I saw that, it looks like he managed to get over the barrier & somehow climb up on stage. I had to laugh coz he bounces around for a couple of seconds with Ed looking suprised at him then he gets carried off by security.... How he managed it I have no idea!

    Whew! It wasn't just me, then. Yeah, it looked kinda funny; Ed did look surprised. From the crowd shots, etc., it appeared that there was a wall of security guys at the barrier. Dude must have been pretty determined to get past them!

    my mate saw it happen during the show. i didnt see it, but i saw it yesterday when watching the bbc video. i did not see it when watching the webstream version of the video

    You can only see the dudes legs runnin by and the security gaurd after him. Its during a closeup of mike on the webcast.

    u can see it more clearly on the TV vid. my huby saw it on the night said they were a but ott on the rugby tackle to take him down, its not like he was attcking ed or the band he was just jumping around really happy. hope he was ok and yes , wow to have gotten past so mainy security guys !

    Yeah I saw it and laughed. They seemed like they didn't want to focus the cameras on it - like a streaker or something - which is probably why it was hard to notice.

    It's quite simple really. You crowd surf over the barrier and whilst you're getting escorted out to the arena again, you make a run for it. Interesting he didn't use the new steps up to the stage...I swear they're new. All other years I don't remember seeing steps cos I remember seeing band members finding it difficult to jump back on stage and once someone fell off and this year I saw some bands effortlessly using the steps to get to the fans sweaty bodies.

    I loved when Eddie forced him to his knee's and was standing over him, hand on his hip...singing in his face. I love Ed!
