Did anyone mention who from RHCP was in attendance?

When EV was going through the list of bands they thanked he pointed Stone side when he mentioned RHCP. I couldn't see who was there but the crowd was clearly taking pics.

This was my 13th show, the last being MSG 2 in 2010. I wasn't sure that anything could ever top that experience but damn this tied it. I was hoping for a Release opener since I've never had that but I have to say Pendulum, Wash and Nothingman moved me to tears. I wouldn't have traded that.

The vibe last night was without question the best. We sat directly across from the stage and I've never felt as connected to the band and the entire audience as I did last night.

I loved the new songs live-Sirens was beautiful and the others just rocked. The extended jams, the sound, the mood-honestly for me it was a perfect show.

Can't wait to see them in Hartford on Saturday night.

Hard to believe that any show containing Release, CD/CofT, and Oceans could be topped the following night...

These were show #'s 34 & 35 for me - I'd say night one ranks near the divider between the upper/middle third of that, while night two is without doubt top 5 overall. Looking forward to Philly (and eventually L.A.)!

I wanted to see the set list from Saturday before I wrote about Friday. This was my 15th or 16th, went to the Accoustic in Boston and I've had seats Ll over the place. The last time I saw them at MSG the sound was terrible, just our location. Last night was perfection. I couldn't have been happier, unless I had GA, but had section 7, row5. And to all of you around me I apologize for singing so loudly during Release. I have been waiting to hear that since I'm 15. 21 years and I finally got it. I didn't think we would since they opened with it in Worcester, having been to 4 concerts in MA, I gotta say they gave them a great show. Always do. Back to Friday, so having played Release, I really died and gone to heaven. I could've gone home. But they just kept rocking. And to hear Chloe/ Crown in the same night, Holy shit!! People. They have only played it less then 5 times live, and Release around 140???? OMG!!!!! Everything was great. Thanks to the guy who explained why Ed was pissed, couldn't figure out what happened. The whole place seemed to be rocking the whole night. I felt so bad for those up high, I would have probably fainted from the height. I really want to say Thanks to the Ten Club for finally getting the ticket system right. Back in the day before the Internet they used to mail out what shows you could see and check the box, send in money and that was it. You were golden. Too many people were giving passcodes out and every Tom dick and Harry could log on as you and get tix.

I loved Friday night. Thank you thank you thank you. Still on cloud 9!!!

Came down from Nova Scotia to see them in Brooklyn, could only get tickets for night 1, and they were upper bowl behind the stage. But I gotta say, it was amazing. First time seeing them and everyone who said the seats behind the stage were the best are completely right. Amazing view and amazing set list.

Fantastic show. GA in Stone's section (unfortunately right where security had to drag out that guy). The energy in my section was incredible- haven't been able to get the feeling when they started Chloe Dancer out of my head. Took my buddy to his first PJ show- he was speechless. We couldn't decide what about the wine pissed off Eddie... my friend thought it was bad/corked, and I thought it looked like the rim of the bottle was chipped. Either way, I'm just glad to get angry Eddie.

Kicking myself for only buying tickets for one show on this tour. The new songs all sounded fantastic, especially opening with Pendulum.

Am i alone in thinking that night 1 was better than 2? I mean, Release, Oceans, Chloe/Crown, Sleight of Hand, and Indifference in the same set??? Come on. Night 1 was the best of the tour IMO.

Guess the Hartford setlist thread will have to do.

I too preferred night 1 for the set list and my seats were way better. I also loved Mike's solo of Eruption. Plus Save You, RVM, I Am Mine, Daughter...killer set list and show. Ed's light surfing during Porch...

Its interesting -- after the Saturday show, i was thinking it was the clear winner, but now that the dust has settled, No 1 is sticking with me for the reasons you mentioned above. Just prefer that set and it had songs that were probably no 1 and 2 on my wish list (and to get Chloe with Crown is such a huge bonus). Im glad i went to both.

Its always fun to compare shows but in the end, we may be talking about nuances between a bunch of great shows

Had a great time at this show. Brought a casual fan friend for her first show who agreed to come probably more for the weekend in NYC than to see Pearl Jam but she was a great date and I know she enjoyed herself. We were in the nosebleeds behind the stage upper level and at times the view was pretty obstructed but it didn't even bother me. I was there!! I just closed my eyes and listened to the music which still sounded great even back there. I finally got to hear Release (my favourite) as well as Chloe/Crown and other favourites like Save You and Why Go!

This was my 12th show- Oceans and Dissident were two of my top 5 must sees so this show holds a special place in my heart. Another one of my top 5- All Those Yesterdays- was played night 2. I loved BK!

Now if I can only get H2I and NAIS...
