Wait, Infallible. Wait, My fathers' son. Wait, heard pendulum 10 more times. It is Pendulum, Yep, definetely Pendulum.

No. It is MYM. FUCK! The whole album is awesome. Not a song I do not like. I have to hit shuffle now just to throw me off. Already memorized the album. :fp:

WOW! This is my first reply here in the forum, im Javier, from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Nice to meet everyone here!

    Welcome!

Getaway and Future Days are my two favorites by far, but this is a great record all the way through. There is nothing on here that I feel a need to skip over.

    Thanks man!
I Think that this a great record all the way through too.
But i think that we are all agree with "Sleeping By Myself" and "Futures Days" as the lower points, aren't we?

PD: Sorry for my english. If it's bad, please, please, correct me. Thank you

Infallible, can't really say why but I think it's the melody. I also love "Let the Records Play" - love that sort of 50's blues groove I hear in it. Funny thing is, the first time I listened to the CD, actually from a wav file from my PC, I was really bummed out and disappointed. After I received the actual CD, looked at the artwork, read the words and listened again - it all fell into place and I connected the dots. This band has always "talked" about what is in my heart and mind.

I don't care for the piano and violin production additions, but I really like the fact that they are taking their skills and music a couple of different directions on this album.

It's Pearl Jam. There's no way I won't end up loving it all!

Funny, Pendulum and Infallible don't really do it for me (yet?) . . .

Sirens, Getaway, Lightning Bolt, MYM, Future Days and Swallowed Whole are tops on my list.... probably in that order. The rest are all "meh" for me so far.

Tricky, but I seem to be hitting repeat a lot with Pendulum and Lightning Bolt.

    Top 3 I'd go...

    1. Pendulum
    2. Lightning Bolt
    3. Infallable

Ah but its tricky! Because I reeeaaaalllly love Yellow Moon too!

I think the only one I'm unsure of is Let the Records Play. Just not digging it.

Overall, after being thirsty for new PJ material, this quenches perfectly enough for me! :)

Without question, my favorite is Infallible.

Other top notch favorites are Getaway, Yellow Moon, Pendulum, and Sirens.

Lightning Bolt and My Father's Son (initially my least favorite) have really grown on me too.

In terms of the pure joy of singing the song in your car, INFALLABLE is my easy winner.

In terms of the best chance to become an all time classic top notch PJ Song, GETAWAY is the one.

In terms of the emotion and meaning, SIRENS is my winner.

In terms of the potential for greatness in time, PENDULUM in my choice.

In terms of the song that I simply can't warm up to, dislike on the album and even more live, MY FATHERS SON

In terms of Yet to be Determined, FUTURE DAYS/YELLOW MOON/SWALLOWED WHOLE are my choices

In terms of PJ songs with a strangely enjoyable non-PJ sound that somehow really love is LET THE RECORD PLAY.

In terms of probably the best choice for the first single to get everyone's attention but doesnt knock my socks off, MIND YOUR MANNERS is perfect.

Pendulum is just a great song. It's haunting and emotional. I won't put it on the level of Black just yet...but it's a damn good song. This is probably my 2nd favorite song on the album.

Sirens is probably the most pop of any of the songs on the album but it's still a great song. From the moment I first heard it, I knew it would be getting put on repeat for a while...lol.

Infallible is just a great song. Has a very unique sound to it. I don't know what it is about this song...but I just love it.

Future Days is another one I can listen to over and over and brings a smile to my face each time. Is it the most epically written thing...no...but it just has a great sound and feel to it.

With all that said...Getaway has to be my favorite. I don't know what it is, but when it comes on I just find myself rocking out to it more than any other song. It just has that catchy cadence to it and is just a great overall rock song.
