Was there a single dedicated GA line and was that line let in early before other gates? Did anyone holding GA enter a seperate gate and still get close? Just trying to plan for future shows. Thanks!

  • once you picked up the tickets they directed you to the only door that GA could enter from. From there you walked down to the floor. I had to work so i didn't even get into line until about 5pm and was about 60 people maybe more in line ahead of me, and i still got front row (drank the wine, got a set list and a few other perks). some people had been in line since 2pm so you can get there late and get a great are to be in. everyone piled up in front of center stage and i walked over to the edge of the stage on stones side. ed spent most of the show by us, even mike came over and pelted us with picks....my advice is...don't follow the crowd :D

Go for MIKES side FOR SURE. At both Worcester shows Stone was very very very subdued (as usual) and just bird walked around the stage for most of the show. Mike was going wild...pointing out people in the crowd, coming in close for solos, etc. Ed goes to both sides but only stays for a short while.

A lot of people in the GA line for the second show were all commenting on how much better Mikes side was Night 1 as far as being interactive with the fans. I would rather be 2nd-3rd row in the Pit on Mikes side rather than on the rail all the way off to Stones side. You may get an epic night with Stone going crazy....but I wouldn't count on it.

P.S. At the Worcester shows there were two "lines". One of them was for the 10c ticket window..and one was to get into the venue for the GA section. It made no difference what time you picked up your 10c tickets if you are in the GA section (obviously)...so you had to queue up in the ENTRANCE line... then people would watch your spot while you made your way over to the 10c ticket window and picked up your tickets. The process is very quick picking them up as well... MAKE SURE YOU QUEUE UP IN THE ENTRANCE line if you are going early to line up.
