Ed wiping out last night, Did you see that?

At the end of Alive he jumped up, and it looked like to me, landed on a sheet of paper which slipped out from under him, and landed on his ass/lower back. He stayed down for a while, close to a minute, and when he got up he quickly limped off stage.
From my view, I could see where they entered/exit the stage and it looked like people were running around back there. Me and the people around me thought he really hurt himself. He came out after the encore a little slower, with a little limp but then rocked out the rest of the night. It was wierd and scary.
I'm a bastard, though, I was worried they'd cut the show shorter. Hey, I'm a bastard

Oh yeah I searched for a thread on this, so don't break my balls about it. Besides there's 18gazillion bushleauger threads going on, so shut it.

    yeah hes been falling alot lately, fell at Boston, fell bad last night, he looked fine at end of the night tho & they definitley didnt cut the set shorter, that 2nd Encore might of been best i ever seen

    yeah it was awesome, but I was worried. I seen him fall before, but maybe it was my vantage point. Last night looked BAD. but as they say, ROCK AND ROLL WILL NEVER DIE!
    you're right, both encores kicked my ass.

    So, I've seen him fall a few times now. Does he need to put bottle caps on the bottoms of his shoes or something or stop dancing the tango with all the microphone wires? What's with all the falling? He's going to hurt himself and get a booboo. It looks too painful to be staged, but he does do it consistently nowadays.

    This is the fella that would climb the 50 foot tall stage and stay in one piece every time..He'll be fine...

    I was second row and watching him gradually lean further and further forward on the stand, thinking to myself "at some point, the laws of physics demand that this thing will slide forward"....all of a sudden the mic slides out, vedder falls forward, almost saves himself (but just quite didn't), and I started laughing hysterically (as did the other few rows around me).

    I honestly think he just gets lost in the music and himself and doesn't realize where he's at sometimes. :)

    First night here in Santiago, at the end of Release he was walking back to pick his guitar, and he fell BAD...then he stood up with his typical not pleased face, and started to play Corduroy... some peolple laughed, but i kind of worried. Now when i see the video, i laugh tough.

    he's been crazy with the balance he has with that mic stand. in detroit he had the mic stand back and his feet far forward and was balancing like that. Last night after he fell one time he used the mic stand to stand up with without using his feet. Its so cool and funny to watch, especially when he falls, as long as he doesnt get hurt too bad heh.
    Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

    on mmr they just said that he sprained his ankle last night with that fall during alive....anyone else hear that?

    Haha I was so worried! He was just lying there, not moving, I was screaming "Eddie get up!!". Haha poor guy. He still smiled as he grabbed his wine and notebook and hopped off the stage :)

    He is friggen immortal, I don't know how he survived all his climbing in the early days!!!

    That actually is rather entertaining. Nice find :) Glad he survived that one OK. Hope last night didn't fuck him up too bad.

    The 2015 tour will include oldman Ed drunk off wine falling and breaking his hip (unless the "depends" cushion his fall), then coming out in a wheel chair for the encore. He will be wheeled out for the next several shows and will be upgraded to walking himself out with a walker or a cane for the 2017 tour.......BUT.....No encore or show would be shortened or halfassed.
