Will not know until day of the show when they are picked up at 10c willcall . My wife won Dallas and Pittsburgh RESERVED tix from 10c lottery. Pittsburgh seats were Section 112 Row S.
I have RESERVED 10c seats, looking to swap for GA. Especially for the Dallas show!
My first concert was April 19, 1992 in Dallas. It was called EDGEFEST and promoted Dallas radio station 94.5fm and Earthday. I remember the tickets being a celebratory $9.45.
I was eleven and I begged my Mom to take me. PJ was the fifth of six bands to play that day. While I remember the other bands, I was completely awed by Pearl Jam and what was explained to me as pure and raw live rock and roll music. I was addicted! When the Lollapalooza '92 tour came around in September, my Mom (thanks Mom!) took me for my twelfth birthday present. Music has always been an important part of my life and the best parts of that were ignited in my youth by a little band from Seattle in the spring and summer of 1992!
When PJ announced a Dallas show, I was obviously excited. My wife and I both put in for the lottery; she won reserved and I lost floor. I have no doubt that her Reserved seats will be badass since the tix she won for Pittsburgh were great. I just want to be on the floor sentimentally so because its my hometown!
We will be going to OKC the following night, so could be in the position to help anyone from outta town as part of a trade. Truth be told.... I'm always willing to help PJ family!
So... if you won Floor in the lottery and are debating whether your bad knee is going to hold up while standing for three plus hours (since there is an opening act sure to play 40 minutes), then here's fate looking out for ya. A little "groovy karma" if you will!
Here's to nothin',
Justin
BTW -- I think Yellow Moon is my new favorite song!
That being said, I am continuing this thread in honor of requesting Dirty Frank to be played in Dallas! Albeit a long shot (of cosmic proportions), one can dream of hearing one of PJ's most funky, rockin' songs live!
What a tour so far!! If the guys aren't careful, they just may go down as the greatest rock band of all time!
