i just cant stand the fact that i received a piece of paper that came out of my printer - as a ticket.
ive saved every ticket stub from every concert ive ever attended. (since soldier field 95)
i would have loved to frame my ticket stub from the EDDIE VEDDER, the first time seeing him solo.

  • I keep ALL of my tickets, and can't stand the ones you print out. I feel the same way. I can't explain it - I just love to have that little thing to remind me of all the shows/bands I've seen...
  • If you buy tickets from ticketbitch far enough in advance there is an option to have them mailed to you by standard mail and you get real tickets.

totally agree....i have hundreds of ticket stubs in a shoebox....hate the printed on paper ones!....i really wish pearl jam would go old school and make the 10c tix with drawings and logos on them!

I feel the same way. I miss the old school ticket stubs, and I don't want to pay Ticketbastard an extra fee to have them mailed to me. Printing them out just isn't the same.

I will NEVER use the ticketfast option. It doesn't seem like a real ticket to me.

Like others here, I save all of my tickets (for all concerts, not just Pearl Jam). I keep them all in ticket albums, but recently noticed the printing is fading on some of them. This printing is almost completely gone My ticket from the 2003 Toronto show, you can hardly tell what it was for anymore.

I always use the free shipping option. I've never had an issue with not receiving my tickets for shows.

i wish the ticketfast tickets were designed better....like in pj case, use the poster art for that nights show on the ticket....it's 8.5x11" plenty of space for something creative :)
  • There is usually a will call option if you purchase the tix too close for mailing. I use that rather than ticketfast...as I HATE printouts. I keep all my PJ and U2 tix in a special book a friend got me as a birthday gift a few years back.
I have a box I keep the rest of my ticket stubs in.

Also I'd never buy tix from someone who has printouts (unless there is no other way for me to get into the show) as there is so much fraud with those. People just photocopy them and whomever gets to the show first gets the tix...the rest are sol and the bastard who sold them is laughing all the way to the bank.

it ain't the same...that's for sure.
i USED to have EVERY oncert ticketfor every show i ever attneded. for awhile there tho, i misplaced em - SO unlike me - and i thought in a fit of organization/cealing i tossed em...and so i stopped saving em. then i found my original stash. :( since i didn't keep em up tho, i think i tossed em all....:( thought, what's the point now? however, i have EVERY pj ticket. :)
    Stay with me...

Ask around to see if anyone has an extra actual ticket. Yeah, it isn't your seat, but you'll have an actual stub instead of a printout. That's what I did with the San Diego Vedder show.
